Funky Cones

My husband and I tried this ice cream shop for the first time today. It was so delicious! The waffle cones are made to order. We tried the original with our banana split and it was AMAZING! We tried the cookie dough, sea salted caramel and strawberry cheesecake. The strawberry cheesecake was *chefs kiss*. My husband loved the salted caramel!! Especially mixed with the strawberry cheesecake. This was a 9/10. Our only complaint is the banana wasn't ripe and it was frozen so it didn't have any flavor. A fresh more ripe banana would've taken it to a 10 no doubt! They offer a nice variety of flavors too. We will definitely come back with our kids.

Amazing! I have never had a bubble waffle, but a friend said I had to try it, so on a trip through town we stopped by. OMG! YUMMY! Price was great and the waffle is like a light and fluffy funnel cake. Crunchy, soft, sprinkled with powdered sugar. Employees were super friendly! Made quick work of our order! Will definitely give them referrals to other customers!

We had ice cream for our birthday! The cones were out of this world delicious. We ordered three cones and two single scoops. We will be back. Ice cream shop was clean and employees were very helpful.

The ice cream and waffle cone tasted delicious! The customer service was very good and the place was nice and clean. My kids can't wait to go back to try all the different flavors and treats!

This place was awesome! The staff was very sweet. Hard to believe but even sweeter than the ice cream. I got the Fruity Pebbles Milkshake and.....wow!!!!! Best milkshake I've ever had! Thank y'all so much! Will definitely be back.

Wanted to try this out after eating at Lost Pizza. Again, not disappointed! I got a regular waffle with Mint Chocolate Chip and my hubs got a Funky Sandwich with Vanilla ice cream and chocolate drizzle. Both were very good!

Enjoyed this place very much. My family had been there a few times without me. So was thankful I was able to join them this time. Ice cream was amazing and the chocolate waffle cone with it was great.

It's an experience, I think if you're a local or tourist you should definitely try it. You pick the flavor of cone and ice cream, you can add from a list of toppings.

My companions and I were in Tupelo craving a sweet treat, so we decided to give Funky Cones a try. They use the trendy bubble waffle cone--made fresh onsite--as the foundation for all the deliciousness that one can imagine for toppings. If building your own cone creation from the huge menu of options is overwhelming, you can always go with one of their set selections. We chose the Strawberry Delight which includes the original waffle, vanilla ice cream, strawberry puree, whipped cream, condensed milk, and strawberry syrup. It was a great combination and not overly sweet. There were other options on the menu as well which are listed on their website. Lastly, they were using Mayfield Creamery ice cream from Tennessee. It was delicious, and something we've never tried. It was our first time to Funky Cones and certainly won't be our last!

Cute place for ice cream! The waffle cones were so much fun (but a little messy). The Death by Chocolate was awesome! They were pretty busy, but we really didn't have to wait too long before our order was ready.

First time we visited. We loved it. They serve BlueBell which is one of the best IceCream brands ever made, in my opinion. The staff was friendly and the service was fast. We loved our creations we ordered. We will be back.

Wow! This place is fabulous. The cone is a real waffle and not the flat crunchy kind. The safe is super nice!

Great place for awesome ice cream and unique waffle cones

For a little back-to-school treat I took my daughter in to try Funky Cones for the first time. The young ladies behind the counter were happy and helpful, and they made our experience even better. We had not seen a menu before, so we went with an old familiar favorite, an oreo milkshake. It had an extra drizzle of chocolate inside the cup that elevated the taste more than I would have expected. The consistency was perfect, and it was prepared quickly. While we waited, we snuck peeks at what others had ordered and saw a multitude of different things we want to try in the future. There was a lemon icebox pie ice cream that I still wish I had tried, so there's definitely motivation to go back.
