5 star experience with facilities and very very to no wait time. Dr. Taylor Mathis is the best as well as his PA Miss Ashley Roberson. Dr. Mathis nurse Anna Gillespie was on point with all paperwork I needed filled out and forwarded to the company I work for which was such a huge help. I really like the surgery center on site so no dealing with discharge.

My son has been here a few times for a broken finger/hand and each time we have visited SOG it has been a wonderful! They are very quick, thorough, and friendly. I would recommend them anytime. We especially love Matthew Murphy and Tyler Marks! They are wonderful to talk to and you can tell they love their jobs. Thank y'all!

Had a torn meniscus and Dr. Taylor Mathis done a great job. Staff was great. I would recommend him to anyone. Been 5 weeks and doing good. I don't hurt anymore. Thanks to everyone.

This visit was the second Dr. I have seen here. Dr. Roberson did my knee replacement and was wonderful! Dr. Marks was equally wonderful with thumb base arthritis. I’ve never met more personable, friendly Dr.’s that I felt I had known forever the first visit. I will continue to use this clinic and share all the time on FB when some one ask for recommendations. Thanks to all employees for making it such a pleasant visit.

Everyone was so nice and helpful. I appreciate Dr. Mathis for seeing me so that I would not have to go all the way back home. Everyone was welcoming I couldn’t ask for better. The grandchildren love the pink cast.

We were helped right away!! We arrived at the last minute and kept them from leaving on time but everyone was so friendly and helpful!! Got X-ray and cast and was out the door within 30 minutes!!

Dr Mathis and his whole staff was so awesomely professional and kept me and my wife informed as much as could be and then some. Never have I been treated so well . The surgery and follow up appointments went very well and have had no other issues. Perfect surgery and perfect professionalism. Thank you all so much.

My experience at (SOC), was as always when I visited there is Always nice and courteous. The Receptionist was very nice, the nurses was very nice also and Dr was extremely nice and direct, straight forward showing me examples of what was going with my back. He looks at you straight in the eyes never blinks until he’s showing you something else. Everyone and everybody was good at doing their jobs. I was pleased at what I experienced there.

I really enjoyed my visit at Specialty Orthopedic Group! They are very phenomenal people! I was very honored to have met Ms. Sonya Pippins! She is very welcoming and has a very sweet spirit! Dr. Rainey is the best, as well!

I want to thank Dr. Williams and his staff for such good care. My knee surgery went without complications. Dr. Williams did an amazing job and the staff there is so helpful and courteous. They always answered my questions and helped me through all phases of my procedure. I would recommend any of the Doctors to anyone who is looking to have a procedure. Wait time for any of my appointments were always short and most of the time called back before my appointment time. It was such a good experience and hope anyone needing a great Doctor will contact SOG for there needs.

Ms. Sonya Pippins, FNP, and her assistant did a fantastic job. Had steroid shots in both knees...Sonya, knowing how I feel about shots, was very gentle; however, she always asks how I am and if I am having problems with my knees. Would highly recommend S O G to anyone.

I met with Ashley Roberson 11/28/2023. She allowed me to have such a pleasurable experience during my post op appointment. Being bullheaded she sweetly talked me into saving my energy by using a wheelchair. When we got to the exam room she thoroughly answered all my questions and made sure I was comfortable while she was taking my staples out. She shared a story with me about her surgery and made me feel at ease. She is so sweet, caring, and personable. I would gladly recommend her to anyone. It’s not often you come across someone as nice and professional as her.

I just love her. She makes you feel great on your visit. She smiles from the time she enters the room until she leaves. Her patient care is the best. She cares about her patients and their health. Sonia Pippin!!! I love Dr. Rainey as well. He help me when I was told I didn't need help. 😥😊 I would recommend the whole team to anyone. I recently saw Doctor Rainey for a follow on my knee that he operated on in 2019. As always, Dr. Rainey and his staff were great at taking care of me and answering any questions I might have. I would recommend Specialty Orthopedic Group for anyone that is seeking an Orthopedic provider.

The staff has always been extremely courteous and helpful, especially Sonya! The ladies at the front were so sweet. I had an issue with my ride and my phone died😞. They helped me out without hesitation😄

They are very nice and professional. I have had so much trouble with my wrist and Dr. Marks has really helped me and it doesn't hurt no where near like it did. I'm still in a cast but it feels so much better.

I love the entire team at SOG. I’ve had two knee surgeries. From the Dr, PA & nurses, to the surgery center staff, the staff in the physical therapy department, the entire experience is fantastic. Also I’ve never had to wait long to be seen. I’ve been to other orthopedic places and SOG blows it out of the water compared to any other place.

I have been with Dr. Taylor Mathis since he began practicing in August of 2016. He repaired my right hip and continued for four years to help me maintain a good qualify of life through the recovery and pain. I recently had to see him about a shoulder issue, and I also saw his PA Ashley who is also a stellar HCP. While in office with Dr. Mathis, my husband asked him about some back problems he has been having, and Dr. Mathis had his staff get his info and get him in the system on the spot. He got him orders for PT, treated my shoulder, and ordered PT for me all in one visit. I will be with Dr. Mathis and his staff as long as he stays local and even then would travel to see him. SOG is not your ordinary clinic or clinicians. I genuinely love him, his nurse Anna, and all of his other staff, many of whom are former students of mine. Godsends!
