Stumbled upon this gem while we were on spring break. What a cool store and concept. Shout out to Anita who recommended the card game Jaipur - SO FUN! My husband and I just played for an hour! I highly recommend you stop at this store if you are in Ottawa, IL or vicinity.

If you’re in the area on vacation and want to upgrade your board game plans, Goblin Games is a great stop.
They had options spanning from quick-to-learn family games to long-form tabletop rpgs.

We took our time looking at everything and never felt rushed. Cool staff, cool shop.

I’ve been going here for a few months now. This place has a good amount of regulars of various ages that play TTRPGs, MTG, and WH40K. The shop owners are willing to work with customers to order things in demand. They keep things tidy. The store has a discord to keep in touch with other gamers that go to the shop to set up games. The owners and employees are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. They are very clear about supporting all gamers by creating a safe space to play. They are involved with others in the community and even sell things created by locals. This place cares about fostering community and it shows.

Grateful to find such a great gaming store and community right near Starved Rock for some special fireside reading on a camping vacation. Thanks for the really great selection of goodies! We’ll be back!
