Shakers Sports Bar & Grill

We needed lunch before the trip back to Chicago. Got a referral from a local cupcake lady. 🧁 It's a burger and beer relaxed sports bar. We had a great waitress named Pam. Super friendly and sweet plus bonus she's a jeeper so my hubby was thrilled. Outdoor seating also and tons of games for adults and kids, and pool tables.

Great food. We ordered the sweetness grilled cheese sandwich and wings, it was all so good. Everyone that works there were very welcoming. Great place to come in and watch sports

We were on our way back home, and we stopped in for a bite. Great staff and freat atmosphere.

Service is great; they have excellent burgers. Excellent brew selection. A nice place to hang out. I recommend it. Next time we tin town we’ll be back.

Love this place. Shout out to our waitress/bartender/busser!! She did everything and amazingly. And didn't miss a beat with probably 10 at the bar and maybe 8 tables. Great service and attentive.

Went here for midday meal while hunting on a Sunday and were not disappointed. I had wings and a grilled ham and cheese and both were good. Awesome service and they even put the game on the TV for me. It’s a little pricey but nothing more than anything else in the area, or any other sports bar.

Great Bar! Abby our bartender was great. Checking on us, making sure we were taken care of, and suggesting great drinks for people like me who would order a Jim Beam with Coke in place of no RumChata and Rootbeer. Crown Royal and Cranberry for the win. Thank you 🤣😅

Its a bar that serves food. And that's not a bad thing. The burgers were very good and very reasonably priced. I did take advantage of their extensive craft beer tap menu. I found a dirty blond ale that was quite tasty. It's within waling distance of a couple of hotels so it made for a decent overnight stop. I would go back again if in the area.

Shakers lounge hamburgers and fried brocolli and cauliflower is the best in town. If you're in the area you must visit here. They have delicious food, heavy pours of alcohol, fun music and their prices are superb. Kids are allowed earlier in the day with a grown up so if you're at the Sheridan il resort it's best to take the drive and visit.

Great ambience when you walk in. Tons of activities like pool tables and shuffleboard. Outside area looks great, but it was cold when we visited.
The polancic is a regional staple, pretty tasty fried pork tenderloin. Adult grilled cheese sandwiches are really creative and good. Prices are absolutely fantastic! Great place, check it out

We're traveling across country and we stop in Ottawa, IL for the evening (at a newly redecorated Holiday Inn Express - pretty nice) right across the street. We walked over and found a terrific sports bar that's been here for 22 years. With a rotating draft menu (3 - 5 oz. beers for $4.00). The extensive "bar -food" menu was delicious (not the menu but the BLT with turkey). It was a fun meal with Stacy as our server....thanks...

Shakers is one of my very favorite places to go out to eat. The service is good, servers are friendly. For me it is just an overall great experience!

Went with a friend had lunch haven't been here in a few years , still great pork tenderloin sandwich place is still clean and bartender nice food came out pretty fast

Best wings I've ever had. Big, juicy and great flavorful sauce. I got chipotle citrus sauce and it was so good. Reuben was good as well.

Very Busy, Band Was Excellent Nice Place

Great small town bar. Bartenders were super friendly, fun live band, and good drinks. Contrary to this picture there was a big crowd.

Came here to meet our family members who are long time residents here and brought us here thinking we'd eat lunch and shoot a few games of pool and we ended up staying over 7 hours! Loved the atmosphere and the food and staff were great. Looking forward to coming back when we're in town again. Thanks for your hospitality!
