Best Burger I’ve ever had! I was there for lunch 2 years ago after visiting starved rock state park. I’m always nervous to try a place for the second time with such a great memory of the taste. My son and I drove one hour to try the burger again and it was Amazing! Their root beer and house chips are fantastic as well. For dessert we had the cookie skillet and it rocked! John was our server and you can tell he loves this place and what he does. Happy and upbeat and super friendly. I wish there were more like him and his passion. He truly made for a great dining experience. I highly recommend checking this place out if you’re visiting starved rock or just want to try the world’s best burger!!!

After being so disappointed by the restaurant down the block we came here and let me tell you it was 10/10 service and 10/10 food. The atmosphere was also so stunning. We got the bison chili which was delicious and came with homemade corn bread that was amazing. I got a salad with that and my husband got the Alla vodka pasta. That was the best alla vodka pasta I have ever tried. It was so light for being a cream sauce and the flavors on the chicken were amazing. My salad was well dressed and chilled! It made it so much better. And the waitress was so kind and fast she was so sweet! Couldn’t recommend enough.

Came here after poor experience at the Beach House and had a delicious dinner! Great Oktoberfest beer selection and tasty German steak dish on seasonal menu! Everything was really good, including the fried fish and the dessert were amazing! Open a little later as well for a nice late night bite

I moved to Arizona recently and one of places that was on my list to visit when I came home for the holidays was Lone Buffalo. They never disappoint! The service is always incredible and the food is some of the best I’ve ever had! This is one of the brunch menu items, it’s called the “Stuffed Brioche French Toast”. It has a delicious cream in the middle with champagne soaked berries. It’s probably the best breakfast food I’ve ever had. Our server’s name was John. He was so knowledgeable, kind, and all around a fantastic server. He made the experience one to remember. Chef Jordan and Chef Ian are also a delight to see whenever I come in. This place is one of Ottawa’s gems, highly recommend!

A nice selection of beers, we had two flights of different styles, enjoying all except the porter.
The full menu is available in the tap room as well as the dining room.
The fish tacos were wonderful, but had so much filling, impossible to eat elegantly!
The building has undergone a major, and I would assume expensive renovation (check out the pictures in the restrooms).
Not cheap but definitely worth a visit, or two.

Was here yesterday and today this is the best place for burgers, pizza, fish tacos, and the chicken! Excellent apps, drinks, beer, service, and atmosphere! I cannot wait to come back again!

Tonight was delightful. The food was great, affordable for still being a bit more fancy. Ashley was my server and she was a sweetheart, would absolutely sit in her section again. Took great care of us despite having plenty of tables for Valentine’s Day and was super personable. Overall great experience!

Great beer and the food was a notch above what you’d expect from a brewery. Had the cauliflower florets (the spicy honey! 😋), fish tacos (the char on the cod was fab!) and Nashville chicken. Our server Destiny suggested some additional sauces to go with the chicken, and her suggestions were 👌🏻.
Also the decor was cool, loved all the little touches, like antique accessories in the bathrooms.

Awesome experience. We had a large group, they seated us as quickly as they could and worked with us on getting orders in quickly. (Thank you!!)

Food was delicious. They worked with me on a food allergy, were super helpful in deciding what might work and it was great.

Beers are very varied and all quite delicious. Servers were friendly and helpful. We will look forward to our next visit!

Ate here twice, Margherita flat bread
add grilled chicken - pretty good! Bone marrow with pulled pork appetizer and pork belly over maple grits issss amazing! Atmosphere is perfect for a fun date night or with girlfriends to try foods with a different flair. Enjoyed the experience

My husband and I I have been here a handful of times and every time is absolutely phenomenal. From the food and beer to the service to the atmosphere this place has it all. Our server John was on top of all his duties. Thank you so much for the hospitality. I recommend the halfway to Nashville chicken sandwich and my husband had the chicken schnitzel. Tea and lemonade for our drinks. But the beer is just a great we just didn’t drink today

This was our second visit to this restaurant/brewery this year and we went on a Saturday night. The selection of food and beverage is great! I recommend the stuffed mushrooms and the burger which is a patty made from 1/2 ground beef and 1/2 bacon. I really liked the chili as well on a cold evening :) They have beer to go and the service was great! Our server Dakota had a great attitude and made us feel right at home. We did have about a 30 min wait but were able to hang out in their attached tasting room to sip beer. They offer flights so you can taste everything in small portions. Highly recommend!

Ottawa is a magical town in Illinois. I would come back soon and will be happy to come and eat at this lovely location again. Ashley was awesome, she let us feel at home. The food was healthy and absolutely delicious. The beee flight was so good and the wine suggestion could be better. The manager Corrine came and gave us a warm and friendly welcome. Loved this local Brewery in Ottawa! All the brews in the place are made in house and did not disappoint! I had ordered a flight of beers and all 4 of the flavors were delicous! The wings and butter I had were superb too! I really wanted a 4 pack of this one dark beer I loved and lucky enough they had a tasting room that had that beer in a 4 pack! Only sad part is I live in Chicago so very sad I won’t be able to get another 4 pack! Highly recommend this local brewery!

This is such a cool place! I love the way it looks and the beers were good. I came here on a Sunday around 2pm of Memorial Day weekend and it was insanely busy. Fortunately, the staff seemed to handle it well. I got a flight of 4 and liked the Honest Haze Hazy IPA the best.

Beautiful atmosphere, great staff, and super delicious food! It was so good that it made the other half of our group jealous and we came back the very next day! Steak and Frites are delicious, along with their mac and Caesar. All the desserts are a win, want to come back just to explore more of their menu!

I have been coming here for years now, the food is always amazing and the beer is always cold! Jordan steered me in the right direction for what beer to get! This establishment will continue to get my support for years to come.

I have been to many places, but none like this. Day trip to Starved Rock turned great as the sun peeked out and pushed the temps to near 60! Already satisfied, my wife and I said, let's have a dinner at a local place and the lone buffalo came up as an option. Well , we came , we saw, we ate and drank and by golly, we never enjoyed food like this before! Service is a 10! Food is unmatched and might have magic or crack in it, probably both, Craig the manager might now. But just wow! Wow,wow,wow,wow, that's our review.

Excellent food and service. I had the fish and chips, the caper ramulaude sauce for dipping was absolutely amazing. Great atmosphere. Indoor and outdoor seating. Highly recommend!
