As soon as you walk in the door the smell is so inviting. We were greeted with smiles . We was there for the Sunday Brunch. You do need reservations n i can see why they are very busy, it's a popular place and the food was to as delicious as the smell when you walk in. Nice variety . And dessert there's so many options my friend and I just filled a big plate of a variety . It's a lil pricey but for the service n quality of food you get n how much you get its totally worth it. I do highly recommend this place if your in the area. Remember make a reservation! No reservations are needed except on Sundays but wouldn't hurt to make one

Wow! What a delightful surprise to find this restaurant in the heart of farm country, Ottawa, Illinois! Who would have guessed such a delightful gift shop, charming servers, full smorgasbord-style food and exquisite dessert bars, fully-stocked bar, with a separate party room, would be located there? It worked out great for my niece's shower. The men were happy at the bar while the women socialized before the meal. Everyone enjoyed the food and dessert bar.

Food and service were absolutely top notch. Been here numerous times and it's always great.

We hadn't eaten at Hank's since 2014. We were in the area and decided to rediscover the great food and unique atmosphere. I ordered the chicken Oscar which was flattened and battered and then fried chicken breast with a sauce and crab meat. It also has cooked asparagus with a baked potato side. Their salad bar is wonderful with several choices. Their homemade bread is great. The place was very busy so we dined in the bar area. Our waitress was very attentive to our needs. It was a good choice at the end of a buying trip for our Red Coach Antiques.

Great food and hospitality. Would go back again and again! Im pretty sure you need reservations though.

Staff was amazing, the food is great quality for the cost. Loved the wood work atmosphere and feeling of walking into a barn to eat. Highly recommend to anyone in town or just passing through. Will be back anytime we're in this area.

Found this place by accident and liked the looks of it so tried it out. Glad we did! Dinner and Sunday brunch place. Broad menu from prime rib, to fried chicken, several pasta dishes, and a bunch of dessert options. Started off with a huge salad bar with several fresh bread choices. We chose the steak Gorgonzola served on fettuccine and the fried chicken with baked potato. The steak looked very good and judging by the plate at the end must have been good. The fried chicken was a light batter and very tasty. There were many other things on the menu I wanted to try so we will definitely be back. Very tempted to return for brunch tomorrow!

Hank's is a hidden gem! I love their Salmon Oscar - so delicious! Hubby enjoyed his chicken and ribs. The salad bar is wonderful with bread, huge cheese block, and various salad choices. We've been back many times.

We went on a Sunday for the Brunch (I highly recommend a reservation) there was plenty of parking however some of it was a pretty good walk to the door however there were several handicap accessible spots.
When we were seated I noticed the tables were nicely spaced apart which is good when you are trying to get to and from the buffet line or if you were to need wheelchair or walker accessibility.
On this day they offered a very nice mimosa flight and Bloody Mary drink options. We enjoyed the mimosas but didn't try the bloody mary.
The food was outstanding, there was a variety of salads and hot options both of the breakfast and the lunch type foods. The desserts were so plentiful they have their own buffet line. There were choices of all types, chocolate, cream, fruit, & nuts way to many to mention.
The server was very nice however appeared to be stretched pretty thin as some at our table's drinks were not refilled and were not offered one until we were preparing to leave, we had several dirty plates that sat on the table most of the time we were there.
The restaurant setting is beautiful and very country with all sorts of birds walking around the property. There is a little store on the grounds that is open on the weekends, the lady who was working in there was very nice and super helpful in finding what you need no matter how unique.

Came here for brunch with my husbands family as it was a more central location for everyone. Food was decent. They have a buffet brunch every Sunday. Waitresses was very attentive. Drinks were good.

Plenty of delicious food choices and a giant dessert table. That fried chicken and chicken gravy was so good! Bonus, our waitress (who was amazing!) and some other staff sang happy birthday to my niece ❤

Had a great first time, was greeted by the host who was very personable and then by our server. Food was hot and very good, nice selection, basically something for everyone. Looking forward to going back with family and friends in the near future. Thank you!

Hank's Farm Restaurant is the very greatest restaurant to eat for Breakfast, and Lunch especially stopping by Curious Curds Gift Shop and buying or looking at their stuff

My wife and I went there for a friend's 50th anniversary party and had the fried chicken and spaghetti. It was one of the best I have tried. So we ended up ordering 22 orders for Christmas and it was a huge hit. We will be eating there again!!

We went for Sunday brunch and to celebrate my daughter's sweet 16. The buffet was outstanding. The staff even more so. They brought out a cupcake with a candle and sang Happy Birthday to her. It made her day that much better.

Stopped here for dinner while on a weekend getaway, didn’t have a reservation but we were lucky enough to be able to grab a table. The service and the food were great!

We brought my mother for her 100th birthday and she was overwhelmed by the kindness of the staff, the service and especially the food. Our server, Laura, was so attentive and made our dinner perfect. When we walked in the host Tom acted like he knew us all ready. This was truly a magical dinner experience, thank you Hank’s Farm.

Had a fantastic meal here. Food was great and the salad bar was a wonderful surprise. Nice cocktails as well. Will be back. Reservation would be advisable. Enjoy
