Flu shot today - pharmacist is personable, pleasant, helpful, effective … very satisfied with customer service

I normally don’t care to do reviews, but I wanted to certainly take the time out of my day to personally thank the kind person at CVS PHARMACY @ 23881 Greenfield for their honesty, consideration and punctuality on last week. I was in a big hurry, and 8 of my important card information apparently fell out of my wallet; License, debit cards, insurance cards and more. 8 in total! I was so baffled as to the possibility of me losing 8 cards, that I actually accused someone for stealing it who was nowhere near where I apparently dropped it. Called the police and everything. However, before I even knew the accused person was innocent, God was dealing with me and I felt just terrible about my reaction. Believing I was handeling it rightly by contacting the police, and so two days later, I went to apologize to the lady, but she wasn’t at her job that day. That following evening, I discovered in my mail, ALL 8 cards from CVS! I was more surprised that it was all returned than anything. Mailed it directly to me. I then, went back up to the young lady’s job with an apology card to express my sincerest apologies. Not as a woman, but as a human being. Most people would just let it go, but I needed to face her with a genuine apology, just as bold as I faced her with accusations. She forgave me and we hugged. I offered further compensation, and she declined saying that the apology was more than enough. I learned a lot of valuable lessons during this situation. But had not that CVS employee played his/her part in doing the right thing, not keeping it behind the desk until someone came and asked, but being proactive in assuring it was received, an innocent person would have been perceived as guilty. We all have our parts to play in correcting our wrongs. I’m just grateful for the privilege to do so. Thank you whoever you are at CVS! May God bless you!

I came here during the summer July 2018 and was assisted by a young lady who attended Tuskegee University. I was in need of medication (from another state) and I didn't know the process to have my prescription refilled. She went above and beyond to assist me and gave additional information I needed about other stores in the area.

The store is clean, stocked and employees are nice! There was a line but cashier Jason did a good job moving it along.

It's a clean CVS and it didn't take me too long to check out from the store. Parking is easy.

I have gone here [numerous times] in a pinch and always found whatever I needed. They could use 2-4 more cashiers, but they will eventually get to you!

Unfortunately…it’s not all the staff usually when I go in, the front of the store is very pleasant and helpful…it’s the pharmacy that’s terrible. One particular person has a very nasty attitude over the phone. Barely could explain what I was calling for…because I was immediately cut off and the tone of the person was very dry and rude. I understand people have bad days, but it’s unfair for customers to have to endure that. On top of that Robo calls give mixed information, Scripts sometimes aren’t ready on time especially when it’s new. Hopefully they get it together!

Pharmacy service is always slow -- no sense of urgency. And, if they're doing something else when you walk up to the register, they usually don't acknowledge or speak to you until they're done even though they may look at you (so you know they know that you're there).

I have tried to patronize this store on many occasions. Today I went into the store for a cold ginger ale. Not a single one of any kind in the cooler. The cooler is Never stocked, I live right behind this cvs in a senior building. When I moved in it was a hot month July! My neighbors warned me Not to waste my time with the cvs in the community! But, I didn’t heed their warnings and Now I’m getting tired of going into a store that has nothing I need. Who is the manager? He/she should be terminated. Vaccines were not available there I had to drive to 10 mile for a flu, RSV vaccines. This is pitiful especially for Southfield residents who live by and make the bad decision to stop by CVS

Denied looking into my aunt's insurance situation so she could have her meds on time, was told she had to pay when really she didn't, she had to wait days without meds, cause the pharmacist didn't want to do his job and do as the customer asked which just meant check the insurance, called into the store, and the lady that answered NEVER apologized or acknowledged a problem. Just started pecking at the keyboard and then said oh wait, there is a zero pay for this med. Well sir/Mam if you don't take the time to listen to the people who patronize these stores you will find yourself store less. People will stop shopping here. My aunt had to go without her meds cause someone didn't want to listen, ALL cause he didn't listen though. We asked him to rerun the insurance information. That must've almost took him out to take one more step to help someone. Moving my information immediately.

The pharmacist are the rudest people I have ever met in my life & they are ALWAYS rude. why are you mean to sick people?

I’ve gone into this store and had my 2 shingles shots and tetanus injection. The nurses that perform the injections are phenomenal. There’s a tall black woman that wears glasses that is extremely angry that she’s alive, she has a scowl on her face and has an extremely nasty attitude.
Is there a score less than zero? I ordered a pick up order on Saturday July 1, 2023. I get a text today to say it’s ready for pick up at 8:17 am July 3, 2023. They don’t open until 9:00 am so I assume for pick orders the turnaround time is 48 hours. I won’t mention the phone calls I made to the store and the ignorant people that responded. When I didn’t receive notification of my order. This store has some very serious issues.
