The family who works there is very kind. We talk and catch up everytime I visit. They cook fresh goulash noodles and I bring it to work for lunch. It's amazing! I prefer going there daily over 7-11.

A lovely family owned store. The owners are so nice and always lets us know how much they appreciate our business. The wife's food is delicious. Soups, rice and chicken or beef dishes. clean and friendly we love these people. They go out of their way to let me know when they have the rice with dill available. It's a pleasure to walk in and they say " hi Maria and Gary" We appreciate you guys. ❤

This is the best operated liquor store in the area. Surprisingly good beer selection, the wine selection is ok, and your standard spirits and soft drinks. The real reason you should visit is for the reasonable prices and extremely friendly and hard working ownership. These guys know how to treat their customers, plain and simple.

Vega is a local treasure. I walk in multiple times a week. I love this place and these people. One of my favorite things about the neighborhood. They really do make you feel like family here. Very. kind people that really care. Others have mentioned the brownies. You have to try them. The muffins are also amazing. The Italian subs are a perfect affordable fast and fresh lunch. The chicken shwarma is good size and good amount of chicken with a nice unique spice to it. The bites with extra garlic sauce are the best. Just got a philly for the first time after smelling them cooking one day. Bangin! Another great affordable fast fresh lunch option. Just pop it in a microwave for one min. They have a nice beer selection and non alcoholic beer selection. I was even getting some nice organic white wine for a while at a good price. I gotta look for that again. You can also get some quick necessity groceries at decent prices like loaves of bread, coffee, cheese etc to save you a trip to the store. See you soon!

I don't live in the area anymore, but it's my go to when I want a drink or a quick bite. Never had a complaint about any of their sandwiches. Prices are good and even though I'm not a regular, the people working are always awesome.

Best market. Sweetest people own, and run this great, neighborhood staple. They go out of their way to please every customer. Everyone who works here is kind. Aside from all the standard items you'd expect in a "corner store", lotto, cigs, etc. This is not just "a store"...it's a destination! Pick up anything, you might need. Service with a smile. You're in, and before you know it- you're out! Homemade goodies, fresh food, sales on wine, liquor great prices- you name it... They've got it!

I cannot begin to explain how amazing this family is to the community. They call customers by name and treat everyone like family. Their home cooked meals are to die for.

Good folks here. Prices are good to for a corner store. No gouging if you need simple staples like sugar. Great deli. Excellent liquor selection and craft beers. Best neighborhood store in town.

My go to shop. I probably come in 3x a week for fresh made meals! The brownies at the counter alone also worth the visit!

This will always be my go to spot when I'm in or around ferndale. I've been going here since I was about 15 or 16 years old. I really consider the owners family friends, and you won't find any better party store food around. I guarantee it. It can't even be considered "party store" food really because it's so much better than that. It's made out of a full kitchen in the back. They have pretty much anything you can ask for at a party store, and if they don't they will get it for you. If I could give it 10 stars I would.

Everyone is super nice and Susan cooks her heart out...great vegetarian options with the best lentil dishes, salads and hummus
