Montano's Shoe Store

I went in this morning with a specific purpose and 4 brand suggestions from friends. Jeffrey took the time and went over the attributes of all of them. I tried on 3 of the brands and walked around the store with each. Had a hard time deciding between 2 brands and finally picked one and walked out of the store with them on. I also bought inserts for existing shoes. Hoping they make my feet feel better walking.

Finding at the age of 62, I need to take care of my feet and to stop buying cheap sneakers.

Going back in a couple months for some sandals!

Excellent service. Finally have a pair of hiking/walking shoes that fit properly and are pain free. Excellent and friendly service from Rachel. Wish I knew about Montanos before I wasted a fortune online buying wrong sized, ill fitting shoes. Went to a prominent author/hiking/runner podiatrist who sends all his clients to Montanos, because of the pain I was experiencing with a new pair of name brand hiking shoes I purchased online. Never knew how your feet change as you get older. You won me over as a new customer ... and guess what? I checked online prices and saved $49. Thanks Rachel.

Huge selection paired with kind and thoughtful service. The sales associates were so helpful sizing my teen boys and selecting boots for them. A level of service that is now rare and this mom appreciated it!!!!!

Very friendly family owned business. I purchased a pair USA made New Balance sneakers. I liked the old school feel of customer service. Measure twice and check fit several times. The sneakers felt so good I wore them out of the store. I highly suggest taking a look if you are in the market for shoes.

Rachel is an amazing sales person. I went into Montano's for the very first time and I had a specific On Running shoe that I wanted. The company stopped making that specific shoe, but after 10 minutes of Rachel's help I was happy to be buying not only one, but two new pairs of On Running shoes. She was super knowledgable about the different perks of each shoe (ex; which one had more support or was waterproof, etc.) and she just made the overall experience very pleasant. Thank you!!

I was very impressed with the service, everybody is super friendly, the store is really cozy and clean, they have a huge selection, honestly I think that is the best shoe store I have ever been.

Montano's lives up to its reputation. This is a shoe store filled with people who know how to fit shoes. When was the last time you went to a shoe store, where they verified your size before selling you a pair of shoes? They do it here all the time. While I was there it was always the first question and the first suggestion made when people walked in. I went in to find a new pair of good walking shoes and not only was Annika wonderful, but after she fit me with these fabulous HOKA shoes, she had the owner come and verify the fit. She also fit me with a new pair of Merrell's that I had also come in for. Love this place. Will definitely return and recommend them. 😊👍

Today is the first time I went there.(1/20/22). I've heard how good it is from guys who I work with. They weren't lying. This is an old fashioned shoe store. The sales people are nice And,they are knowledgeable in shoes. If you have foot problems like I do,they help you with that. After they helped me get the right boots,the owner then came over to double check,that I was happy with my choice. You don't get this kind of service anymore anywhere. I'm now a loyal customer.

The absolute best experience I've had buying shoes. They know everything when it comes to what you need. They have shoes that I didn't know were sold in stores, and they were cheaper than if I had bought them from the website directly. Im definitely going to Montano's for all my shoes from now on.

Please shop at this store! Truly one of the best traditional shoe stores around. I walked in and the owner of the store came up to me. He asked me what I wanted and then measured my foot. He came back in under a minute with the most comfortable work boots I have ever put on. He put them on me and laced them up. Sold. In and out under 10 minutes. Worth every penny.

Montano’s shoe store is one of a kind! They are one of the very few shoe store that take the time to properly measure and fit you in the correct size. They fit my twin girls for their first walking shoes and the service was phenomenal. I drove an hour to get to their store and it was totally worth it. My girls were in totally different sizes and widths and I would have never been able to get the proper fit without their expertise. I will definitely be taking the trip ever time my girls outgrow their shoes. Thank you to the rep. Jeffrey for such awesome service!

Nice selection of quality shoes with a staff worth their weight in gold. They really like helping people and know their products. I was there for a very short time, because the gentleman who helped me listened and brought me the shoe that fit exactly what I was looking for. Many stores, large and small, could benefit from training their customer service staff the same way these wonderful people have been. To listen and provide a good experience shopping making a customer want to return and spend more in the future.
