Probably one of the best beer/liquor selections around. My wife sends me here to get craft brews that are hard to find anywhere else. If you are thirsty, this is definitely the place that has what you need!

Myself, my husband & my boyfriend just moved to the area and came across this amazing store. We were all immediately happy walking in seeing the pride flag on display. We were greeted by a really nice tall handsome middle eastern man we think his name is sam. We told him that is three love drinking wine and getting a little handsy, sam bless his heart showed us his great assortment of wines. We were speechless with how clean, stocked and how organized the store was. We loved every min we spent there. Such a great store & sam is just absolutely amazing. He even walked our purchased goods to our car. I love me a tall middle eastern man, what a cutie

Amazing service, the store is extremely clean, and just got remodeled. The new interior is very nice and has a very welcoming feel to it. They Have a huge variety of many different beer, liquor, and wine selections, including a lot of stuff I can’t find at any other markets in the area. They also have a lot of different snacks and other beverages making it a one stop shop for all your needs. The owners and staff are very nice and really go out of their way for the customer. overall the best customer service and best quality with the best prices.

State Fair Market is the most awesome liquor store around. Wonderful selection of beer, liquor, wine, and whatever else you can think of. Great snacks and newly renovated. the whole crew is polite and helpful. Pookie gives this place a BIG THUMBS UP.

Newly remodeled store. Seems like their liquor, beer, and wine selection has grown with the remodel. Prices are great too. I get all of my allocated bourbons from here that I cannot find elsewhere. Must check out.

Back in December, I thought I’d stop by to see the place. They have the best deals on liquor and they treat their customers with lots of respect. I had the best experience ever for a store like that. I 1000% recommend this place!

So full of choices in every aisle plus huge liquor display

Decent prices had everything delicious and sells food you don't find except in grocery stores. Hot pockets, Maria calendar pot pies, Ben and Jerry's and I don't eat those except Ben and Jerry's but I was impressed with that because everything closes early in Michigan.

The best liquor store! Very friendly owners and staff, expansive selection, and if they don’t have what you’re looking for they’ll do everything they can to get it in for you. The interior is updated, clean, and looks fantastic.

I don’t typically write reviews, because I simply expect good service from companies, but I felt compelled to write a review for State Fair Supermarket in Ferndale because they truly went above and beyond.

I recently had a child and had an extremely limited window to find a particular and very special bottle (which was dumped from the barrel on his birthday) to open with him on his 21st. It took a lot of work to track down, but State Fair Supermarket was the only place I could find that actually had this bottle. The only problem was the store is in Michigan and I’m in Georgia.

Simon was incredibly helpful and accommodating with my request to hold not just one but five of these bottles (yeah, his store got a lot of this difficult-to-find bottle) while I tracked down a friend of a friend who could go pick them up for me. This is the type of bottle that typically flies off the shelf and the fact that Simon was willing to hold these for me is really pretty amazing.

Just check the store’s Instagram. They get a great selection of products all the time and actually care about their customers. If I lived in Michigan, this would absolutely be my go-to store, and I’ll definitely stop in anytime I find my way up there.

This place is amazing! Simon and Sam are always so helpful and makes sure I’m happy before I leave. They have a great selection of liquor, beer and always are fully stocked!

Walked in and felt at home. These guys rock, they literally have everything you are looking for. Pricing is very competitive and updated. I was looking for Crown Peach and they had it! Keep up the great job.
