Virginia ABC stores are uncanny places to shop in my opinion. VAABC stores are small spaces, have severely limited choices, high prices, in an austere environment. Felliniesque. (5 stars are for the aesthetically surreal shopping experience)

Today I stopped by looking for a high quality gin for an event. The very knowledgeable clerk was able to talk about the most expensive gin, and most unique gin (gunpowder) and the smoothest and best tasting. His recommendation for best tasting was half what I was planning to spend. Thanks!

Great variety and price options! Great gift ideas if invited to dinner or a promotion party. The wine collection if good but they don't have a lot of options.
