Brighton

While in the Brighton store in Palm Beach airport…I wanted to purchased a few key chains as presents, in the past I had purchased some and I was ready to purchase another one, however, the sales person stood right before me inspecting my every move. I think she believed I was going to shop lift. I gave her no indication of this but she proceeded to follow me around, not in a friendly way. I would not mind this if she did this to the other customers. Although I wanted the key chain, I refused to buy it. I am tired of African Americans people getting poor customer service even when they’re paying customers. Ask Nordstrom how they increased sales when they started treating African Americans as equal customers and not just shop lifters. Hopefully this will help the next Black women who just wants to buy a present. Sad for me and even more sad for the retail clerk. These small purchases add up!
