Asian Supermarket

As one other reviewer pointed out, an Asian supermarket has been a long time coming to Baton Rouge, and it is *everything* residents had hoped for. The competition between this upstart and the institution, Vinh Phat (only a mile away) could prove quite interesting.

We come here at least once a month or more. They have lots of dishes n tea pot set and homemade items you have to check out. We normally pick up the Japanese sados , pororo juices, buldak cheese spicy Ramen, buldak cream carbonara Ramen, happy moments choco pies (kinda like moon pies but better), Asian rice is my familys have to have, lots of different snacks and we are always trying different snacks and drinks many to pick from.

What’s your Asian flavor? Very large market with a lot of everything. No appliances or furniture yet I tell ya these folks have a lot.
The store is pretty clean with that Asian scent that you are greeted with once you enter. Yes the aisles are packed and well organized. The customer service reps will help you but don’t bug you. So every time I go in I try to get some great things to fill my house with.

The store was clean and organized, there was a great variety of food and cookware.
It's not hard to find and it's a very large store, not as big as Walmart but they sell rice and instant noodles in bulk. The cashier was very polite and helpful.
We enjoyed being in the store and shopping and finding different things from a different culture.

My trip to the store was an awesome adventure! I found items that I went there specifically to purchase but then I was amazed at the selection of produce that I had never even heard of. I purchased Caltrop which looks like a water buffalo head. They had a nice selection of live eels, lobsters, crabs, different varieties of fish... All in tanks so that you could pick out your own. One of the crabs even had on a pink tutu! In the fresh meat department they had ducks, chickens, even one of those rare black meat chickens. They had very reasonably priced lamb... I do love lamb! I was there for about three and a half hours and could have stayed longer had I not been pressed for time. I purchased several items that I've never tried before and I can't wait to go back and continue to browse their wonderful selection of delicaseas.

I was looking for Natto. They had it. I called first they were very helpful on the phone. They have everything here. Even "hammered" woks much like the ones sold on TV decades ago.

My mother and I come here all the time. I love the fact that the employees help you when you asked them and this store always have everything that I like in which is healthy asian food and they are respectful. I love it.

Huge variety, fresh meat and produce. There are lots of items here you can't get other places. Definitely don't skip the produce fridge in the back, lots of great stuff in there.

Wonderful place with amazing staff and awesome selection of products. I took home a precooked whole duck from the cooler and heated it up for dinner. It was out of this world delicious. Every time I come here I buy more than I planned.

Love this place, walk in without a mask one lady worker started yelling like an alligator entered the store. Lucky we caught it!! 😆

Super clean! No unnamed smells at all, smelled so fresh. Lots of fresh vegetables cheaper than in regular supermarket. Many hard to find foreign Asian ingredients. Easy in-and-out parking lot with plenty of parking. They have another location in Lafayette but I have not visited that one.

This is a nice store. Clean, well organized, well stocked, and well lit. Fresh seafood and many varieties or cooking ingredients for asian cuisines.

Absolutely incredible selection. A little hard if you don't read Asian but still incredible food to choose from.

They have lots of fresh foods, meats, fish, tofu, cooking implements, beverages, baked goods and treats, etc and many brands to choose from.

Very happy I found Asian store in town! They don't have a lot of Indonesian food, but I'm pretty grateful for what I can get from this store. They have Indomie, bumbu nasi goreng, bumbu Soto, bumbu rendang, Pocky. They also have red bean ice cream!! They sell lots of Japanese food, Vietnamese and Chinese. But, I'll be regular over here.

Wonderful Asian market. Great variety of goods, reasonable prices. Recommended.

This was a pretty wild experience. There are many Asian items that exist, and that was my main take away after visiting this store.

Great produce & prices. I also like their music & the cute Chinese cashiers!

Love shopping here for exotic spices and some seafood. I'm always looking to add to my cooking portfolio so when I need new ideas, sometimes I go here.

Born and raised in hawaii, i grew up eating everything they sell. It's comforting to be able to find these items here. The restaurant in the parking lot is amazing also.
