Bear Den Overlook certainly does not disappoint.

Nothing beats a morning drive on the Blue Ridge Parkway and the way the light from the early morning plays across he mountains. Great view at the Bear Den Overlook as the ridges fade into the distance. This is a smaller parking area but isn't very crowded most time. Worth a stop.

This is another great spot to pull over while driving the Blue Ridge Parkway. From this overlook will have a spectacular view of the mountains and valleys around you. You can see for miles and miles on a clear day. The elevation here is 3359 feet.

Beautiful overlook views especially in the fall where the full fall colors are on display. As usual there is free parking.

This place is absolutely stunning. Long expansive mountain views that camera just cannot do justice. If your travelling through, sure to give yourself time to stop and take it in for a bit. It will leave a memory that's sure to not fade.

Easy pull off, fit for big rigs/RVs and a wide enough view where you don’t feel like you have to share!

Parking is a bit limited, so be careful getting in and out of this area. Also, watch for deer.

Absolutely beautiful long range views!! If you can catch the color you can't beat it!

We visited here on a cloudy misty morning and recorded some beautiful images of those famous blue ridges. This is just a pull off and overlook. There are no other services or facilities here.

We love getting out and riding on the Harley. We're always looking for new places to go and old ones we loved. The views are beyond beautiful and it's so peaceful and quiet. Could look at these views all day.

One of the most breathtaking stops we have made on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Views for miles and miles and the feel of the crisp mountain air. Highly recommend this stop on your journeys!
