We stop here often to grab sandwiches to go. This time we decided to eat in. Place is super cute Ms the sandwiches are always delicious. Always taste like fresh ingredients & breads. We always grab a dessert to split and we are never disappointed. It’s not the cheapest sandwich in town but they are consistently delicious. Staff is always professional and friendly & attentive. They do get busy during peak hours.

Sandwiches were 5 stars. Generous servings. Friendly staff. Nice outdoor tables for a relaxing lunch. Highly recommend.

Quaint bakery with a few baked goods, fudge, and sandwiches. Their white chocolate fudge with Butterfingers is incredible. We also got a lemon blueberry cake that I’m looking forward to eating on our way back to our home post-vacation.

Amazing sandwiches. They were so good we went back a second time. Super cute eat in or patio seating. Dogs welcome outside. Can’t rave enough about this gem.

Although called the Ham Shop when we visited in Oct 2022, my wife got turkey on rye and I got roast beef on hoagie roll. Both were excellent. Decided to sit outside and it was thoroughly enjoyable. The seating is in a nook so although it was 68° and windy, we were quite comfortable. The sun was shining.

Kelly made our wedding cake and cupcakes for our October wedding, and the finished product was absolutely amazing. The pre-selected cupcakes were to die for, and got complimented the entire night, while our Wedding Cake was made exactly how we envisioned it. I couldn't recommend Kelly and the Ham Shop Deli & Bakery enough for your baked goods!

This is a staple every time we come to the Boone/VC/Banner Elk area. Great food, great atmosphere and this time we met the owner and she was great! Potato salad is a must and can’t go wrong with the make your own sandwiches. Will definitely be back again and happy to see you all thriving!

We ordered the 10 inch cake. It could easily feed 20 people because it was so tall and DELICIOUS! The decoration was a soccer ball for my Grandson’s birthday. We highly recommend this. They are very easy to work with and accommodating.

Found this place when we needed to go to another place in the same shopping center. We were very impressed with the service and the quality of the food. Both were extremely outstanding.
They do have several menu sandwiches that are already "designed"...or you can build your own. My husband had the Mountain Cuban...and he said it was very good. I had the Taste of Italy. Chicken, spinach, mozzarella, pesto all on a homemade tomato basil bread. It was amazing. Everyone on staff were friendly and efficient. All in all a win all the way round. We will be back!!

definitely with a visit! i had a turkey on sourdough half sandwich, and it was piled high with turkey. The bread was super soft, and delicious. They offer many sweet options as well, and the cookies are awesome.

We hosted a pre wedding party and Kelly prepared a dessert bar. Presentation was excellent, the desserts were delicious. Would definitely recommend for your event. Thank you so much.

If you if you want a large delicious sandwich. This is the place to go. Come hungry, because the sides are just scrumptious! Don't forget to get a cookie for later. Definitely the best sandwiches in Banner Elk! Now I got to take a nap.
