As a person who frequently goes to the gym, I personally love this store. I have been to multiple over the years and this one is the one I’d travel long distances to go to. Most of the time, the employees don’t even know the difference between pre workout and protein powder. Stephano at the university location was well knowledged and even gave me recommendations based on my experiences. The wheybolic clinically proven performance protein GNC AMP advanced muscle performance is the best I’ve had in a while. Stephano has not only the most powerful customer service out of all the locations but the knowledge of a customer himself, making myself more aware of what I am purchasing and willing to make future purchases. Highly recommend the university location. Thanks Stephano!

This is the best GNC in Sarasota! The manager is amazingly helpful! Knowledge is power! The manager assisted with every product we bought and knew exactly what was needed per my lifestyle and daily schedule. Thank you so much for all your help with todays purchases!

This place is alright I guess. Stopped in because I was bored... I honestly thought they sold truck parts. LOL. I need a new exhaust pipe. Awesome worker I met there named Chris. Told me all about their healthy vitamins and two words in I was SOLD. Thank you Chris for believing in me. He made me so motivated to be healthy! I am a little chunky so... not much motivation in me ever! Thanks!!!

Trying to get on track and eat right to lose weight. Stopped at this GNC to check out the supplements and meal replacement shakes and Scott was unbelievable. He provided excellent customer service, never making me feel subconscious about my weight nor about my ability to lose the weight. I explained that my debit card had been compromised so I had limited funds to spend today, and at no time did he cut his assistance short. Instead he offered additional options that might help my budget and to consider on my next visit. But most impressive was his attention to detail. In speaking with him, I told him I wanted 6 of the individual shake packets. I took them to the register and while Chris was ringing me up, Scott noticed I got 7 packets and rather than letting it go, he pointed out that I had 7 packets and I had mentioned 6, asking if I wanted the 7th. Based on my financial predicament, I did not want the 7th one and I appreciated Scott recalling our conversation, and taking the time to bring it to my attention. I recently moved down the street but do most of my business in Bradenton, but I will be doing all of my GNC business at this GNC location. Thank you Scott for empowering me and motivating me to remain steadfast in my quest to lose weight by simply showing an interest in my desire to do so and sharing your wealth of information on how those items of interest could help me get there. I’ll be back.

Always has when I go there for in Stock! Staff is very helpful & friendly, they will help me find what I need if I need assistance. The staff is very knowledgeable about the products they sell.. Almost everyone of the employees has tried/using one of the supplements in that store.. If I can't find something, they're right there to help me! Definitely recommend to friends and family!!

This GNC used to be great with the old manager Amanda. Since she left the overall customer service has decreased and I will be looking for a new GNC.

This store is a joke. Twice Ive been in middle of the day. Nobody home. Store lit, but locked. Terrible management.

I spoke to Karen. Very rude customer service. Not helpful, and didn't seem to even want to try to help at all. I will take my business elsewhere.
