Subhlaxmi Grocers

It's a reasonable shop with plenty of offers. As far as I understand if you have membership, the items are cheaper than other Indian grocery stores nearby! I will recommend them for sure!!

Subhlaxmi is one of the biggest Indian grocery store of Houston. They sell almost every thing right from frozen Gujarati, South Indian and North Indian food to Puja samagri and Home decor items. They also sell beautiful handcrafted swings, God idols and even Indian musical instruments like harmonium, tabla and Dholak. You name it they have it. They do have in-house kitchen for fresh food and fresh sugarcane juice. Also SUPER is their in-house brand. Price is very competitive and along with awesome customer service. Specially their manger (Aesha) is very polite, understanding and helpful. She know aisle location for almost all products. They do offer free curbside pick up and home delivery up to 12 km radius starting from $7.99 additional. Though delivery takes 1-2 days. They do have website where you can place online orders.

Very good collection of groceries and other food, essential items. This is a must visit destination after arriving in Houston to get you sorted on the cooking requirements. The staff is very polite and friendly too. 5 stars.

They have a large variety of products that are native to Indonesian culture, I love shopping here for all of my favorites.

The place has a super wide variety of subcontinental product. Any product that you used to use back home, you name it, and youd find it there.

Pros:

1. Wide variety
2. Helpful people, always prioritizing customers
3. Delicious samosa, jilebi, lassi mango

Cons:

1. Vegetables are sometimes NOT fresh, and looks too old
2. Little odd, but the music at times is super loud :/
3. Sometimes a bit pricey

Great produce at reasonable prices. Huge variety of incense at a very good value. Staff are friendly and stay busy keeping the shelves stocked. This is my favorite grocery store for products from India.

We loved this store for our daily grocery. Every-time we are coming to this store any grocery. It is kind of first choice store for us. for every festival we find all are necessary things right here!!! We will recommend this to everyone :)

My go to place for Indian grocery. Quality is top notch .Little bit more on cost comparatively but never got any expired products. Very well maintained grocery. Staff is very helpful and courteous.

Best selection of Indian spices in all of Houston! Sweet and savory box mixes, boxed sweets, produce, drinks--they even have homewares! Great grocery if you are looking for specialty items. My only complaint is that the isles are a bit too narrow.

Great grocery store for Indian food. They have everything. We tried some candy bars and also bought pear and mango and can't wait to try them both!

Best place to get Puja items and coconuts.

Pretty good Indian place for groceries. You can find almost all the spices, frozen foods, snacks here. Most raw vegetables that are used for cooking in India are also available here but I felt that they have quite a few missing veggies and can improve there. They also have idols but I am not a worshiper, so cannot comment much on that.

Recently they have opened a fresh food stall inside the shop. I am going to attach some pictures of their menu and it looks like a steal. Fresh chapathis, rotis along with curries that are sold separately and at different sizes (S/M/L) reminds me of the currie-points back home.

Nice selection of grocery items with competitive pricing. Prices are well-marked. Staff helpful. Loyalty program easy to sign up for and includes instant discount on many items.

Great place to shop for Indian groceries and related items. Low prices and good stock. Make sure to register as a reward member to get additional discounts. They have a good mini restaurant inside, too.

Who could have thought that the best Chaat on Hillcroft Avenue is in the small Deli in the back of SubhLaxmi Grocers formerly India Grocers.! The Pani Puri "Gol Gappa" for some are amazing! We enjoyed this Indian Street food while shopping for the widest variety of Indian foods, vegetables and Utensils. Everything you need in One store. And the owners are hands on and responsive. We'll be back!

Excellent customer service. I was 5 min late to the store closing time and they were very kind to accommodate us to pick our groceries quickly. Really sweet snd nice people. Also, the vegetables were way better than other stores. Will highly recommend and go there from next time!!

While waiting for my food at Shiv Sagar, one of my all-time favorite Hindian restaurants, I stopped in to check out the store. It is easy to browse this store, and the workers are very friendly. I found a large and diverse selection of rasayana and other medicines, including shilajit in multiple strengths. The shelves are fully stocked, and I knew by the scent of the store, that everything would be fresh. I bought some snacks, some medicine, and some attar because it smelled amazing and unadulterated. I cannot wait to return
