These stars go to a person that I haven’t seen in this store before but now we see her all the time working hard, and we are thankful for that. I think her name is Kimberly E. her badge says Assistant General Manager. Kudos to her and trying to get this store looking good, clean, stocked, taking out the old stuff and bringing in new items, as that store needed an overall and color coding for those of us who like that kind of thing.
Whoever hired her, we thank you! She is pleasant, helps you find items, she is always on the floor, cleaning, organizing, stocking, making attractive displays, saying hello to customers, then we see her going to the registers to help the cashiers or to cashier herself. This store has never looked better since she came on board.
For the other workers, they need to look at her example and follow suit, to help keep this store nice. A bad note, This store has a few lazy kids that don’t do anything but stand behind the counter and talk to each other.
Kimberly must have lots of years in retail because it definitely shows in this store now. She deserves a raise and maybe a few days off, as we always see her working hard and there almost every day.
On another bad note and not under Kimberly’s control, we are sure, but they need a ton more cashiers, stockers and their parking lot sucks… never a place to park and too small of a lot, if we can’t find a parking spot, we move onto another thrift store. Bad for their business! Need to move their store to a bigger one with a bigger parking lot.
Keep Miss Kimberly around, she is an asset to your store!!

I was there before they open today to get a toolbox for my little boy a couple that came way after me .ran in the store and grab that toolbox when they just hired me in another lady other talking about me getting it for my son. I was really really impressed with the staff. They wasn't going to let the guy because what they did was wrong.but I tell them go ahead let him have it because it's not worth fighting overso I want to thank the staff for what they did and I'll show the couple customers that was there that was taking up for me.and thanks to the guy that works there that found me a toolbox for my little boy thank you guys so very much you guys got amazing staff working there

Service is so good! Friendly and helpful. Exactly where I want to spend my Friday night! The only complaint I'd have is it would be so good if they organized every thing by size, not type. But that's not really an issue for most people.

Really surprised to be reading some other reviews about them not having great items. While yes there are days where it may be slower or not as good, almost every time I find something amazing there! Just to give some examples:

Just remember you have to go in with the mindset that you will be digging, and not every day is going to be a major score.

Since the renovation the store is incredibly spacious and much easier to navigate, and staff is always friendly and helpful!

They are so helpful here. I have donated many things and have purchased a few too. My son was looking for a 3 shelf book shelve and we went to Staples they closed at 6. We were at the door at 5:58 they would not let us in. Went to Goodwill they closed at 6 too, but they let us in because they remembered us. They did not have what he wanted and the manager said just one second I think I know what you want. He came out with the perfect shelve! Sold it to my son for a great price! These guys are great and great management!

Great location. You drive into a garage area 2 vehicles at a time. There are many employees to help unload and they are very friendly. Then you drive out the other side. So easy!

If you use the drive-thru, just have your stuff in bags and ready to go. You should be in and out in under 2 minutes. Don't be that guy who keeps 12 cars waiting because you're not organized and ready.

Have had plenty of great shopping experiences here. Able to find name brand clothing, new with tags, at a fraction of retail price! My most recent discovery included nearly 60 silver note cards, new, in original packaging, that I plan to use for "Thank You" cards for a wedding this fall - $10! You never know what you'll find here, and their donation process is simple, too, with a drive-up and drop-off set-up.

Great selection of gently used professional wear. I usually have trouble finding petite pants, but they always seem to have quite a few in stock here. Clean store and friendly staff.

It's my favorite thrift store.Staff is always nice..there prices are reasonable.simetimes too cheap.with a receipt you can bring an item back with a receipt within 7 days. I've been through a lot of thrift stores and their prices are always outrageous usually and most of them has a dirty feel to them .not this one it is clean and organized ,good staff

The best thrift store in Kansas City metro area on both sides of the state line. Many of the items donated are gently worn. Many times I've come across items with the original merchants tag. Employees are friendly and helpful. They also have a 7 day return policy.

I accidentally donated an item and when I went back 30 minutes later Mark (general manager) and another co-worker took time to locate it and with a super attitude and a smile. I'm sure this can be annoying to them, but they truly acted like it was no big deal.

Great ... and no trying rooms at this time but at least they have a 7 day return policy.... which is great cause some thief stores don't have a return policy on close so if your close don't fit your out

I've had a great experience with this Goodwill. Oh and to Nancy, the person with the other half of the tag has already paid a deposit to hold the furniture or they do pay the whole price up front. They just do that so that they can call a friend or rent a truck to move it in so many days. We did it with a couch, we paid half at the salvation army, then waited 4 days until my brother in law was able to help us and completed the transaction and moved it. Its kind of like the down payment you make on furniture at a furniture store. you pay something reserve it, pay the rest via however and they come move it. Only at thrift stores, customers move it themselves. Get over it.

This store has a lot of clothing. Most of it seems to be donated from stores and never worn. I've picked up some nice higher end brands here for a couple of bucks. Worth checking out periodically.

Very full, pretty well organized prices reasonable, not as clean as or much like a department store that some stores in Kansas and Oklahoma

I love this goodwill. This is my favorite store. The staff is so nice and store is super clean

This place is clean, if not cluttered, and often has good deals on everything from clothing to electronics. Staff is friendly and selection is decent.
