The staff is cool enough to allow you to play any game you want. I will advise to ask for permission first. That along with the standard respect of the rules and you are set to play until the night ends.

I've seen every type of store in my 25+ years of playing magic the gathering. The good, bad and the ugly. The Meta is REALLY clean. Like, the bathrooms are immaculate. You understand the importance of this when you spend 9 hours in a small-ish space with 30 odd people. it's a unique spot, they have a bevy of computers and adequate table space for gaming. The owner of the store takes a lot of pride in his business, which shows in the presentation of the store itself. He is also looking to improve the store and bring in new people. Good selection of unhealthy AND healthy snacks.

Overall, one of the better stores on the Island at the moment.

Meta has been my go to shop since the pandemic lightened and I could write a book about how excellent it is! Meta is the place to go if you're a Smash gamer, Mtg fanatic, tabletop enthusiast, or just new to the area and want to meet some friendly people and game. The biggest thing I can tell you is about the latter, the people at the shop are so friendly and enjoyable and that starts at the top with the management. You won't regret swinging by so shop local and support some salt of the earth people. They have great prices on MTG singles too!

I called to inquire for my son. The owner was very nice & polite. He didn't mind answering my questions. My son has since been there twice & has only said very nice things about the owner and the crowd that enjoys spending time there. The store is clean, organized and has a nice selection.

Staff is friendly, play space is immaculate. Community is friendly and welcoming. Willing to explore new and up-and-coming formats in several games, which is a big positive for anyone looking for a way too mix up the formats they play in.

The Meta is incredibly clean, has great natural lighting, comfortable gaming chairs at each PC, play time costs are flexible and fair, also hours are banked! This is a great place to play competitively in tournaments (Which have great prizing by the way) or to just have some fun on LAN with your friends. All 3 owners are incredibly nice, accommodating and open to feedback. I've been to several LAN centers and The Meta is by far been the best one I've ever played at. Cant say enough good about this place. Highly recommend checking it out.

Ok, note this coming from a parents point of view BUT I was 80s/90s gamer! I was at the SSB Tournament this past weekend. This place is far from the city but manageable and thankfully there is a main food source - Chic fil A and Carvel.
The layout well done and the staff was excellent!
They were respective and extremely helpful - NOTE - the young people were extremely respectfully - says a lot about their parents minus the expletives.
Super clean bathrooms.
Even thou it looked chaotic, these guys really put on a good show. I was the only grey-haired kid there so as a Tech Guy, I marveled at the tech setup inside and virtually.
It is a very safe place.

The staff worker nick is one hell of a guy very friendly and very nice. An amazing atmosphere this place is what long island is missing the perfect and an actual gaming and esports environment. I hope more and more people come they are missing out. Love this place. I will come here ever friday.

I have been there a few times and they have so many games to play. It’s a whole variety. You can bring your own stuff or they give u a keyboard, mouse, and headset if u forget. U run average 240 FPS on all the games u play. They have some tv’s with twitch streams and gaming tournaments around the room.

Great place to hang out and play games. Super friendly owner and welcoming environment. My group and I will be back to drain our wallets further!

Owner was absolutely incredible and helped with the PC's and magic cards. Ended up staying here for hours.

Cool place to geek out! Went to a Yu-Gi-Oh tournament and saw all of the various consoles and computers there, and better yet they have refreshments and snacks!
