I love walgreens. It's always clean, employees friendly and helpful

The employees who work here are incredibly helpful and friendly, especially David! I come to this Walgreens very often, and really enjoy interacting with these wonderful people.

This pharmacy can be very busy at anytime of the day and usually I would have my meds sent to a different Walgreens... BUT I had a new medication that needed to filled and my insurance paid a % but it was still quite costly. The girl working the drive thru noticed I still had to pay a nice bit of change so she did her magic and got my script down to $ 20... Thanks for your help.

The store has been a drugstore for many years. Walgreens is the latest tenant at this property, and has done a nice job of working with what's there.

The young female cashier that checked us out seemed miserable and was not friendly. They had easter eggs at the counter that had a sign attached saying something about joining a club or membership, and below that it said “even if you don’t join, please take an egg anyway!” So I asked her if anyone could have an egg, and she told me “no, you would need to join a credit card membership to do that, and it’s just a piece of paper inside them.” I mean it’s an honest answer, but why even have that blatantly incorrect sign if that’s not the case? Needless to say, I didn’t take an easter egg with me and it looked like no one else had either.

What kind of pharmacy in coastal NC DOESN'T take Tricare? With the number of military bases around, and retirees living in Southport, this is unacceptable. Shame on Walgreens.
