Julia was super nice. We came in to order with 15 minutes left before close. She was nice enough to let us order and got us everything we needed with a smile! She did a phenomenal job and I would recommend going here. With servers like Julia people want to come back. Thank you!

Been in a ton of coffee shops. THIS coffee shop is awesome! Very clean and smells awesome as soon as you walk in. More than plenty on the menu to choose from. Staff was very courteous. I would highly recommend giving them a try if you are in Southport.

Great little coffee shop - amazing coffee (I got the iced Caramello Leche) & and breakfast sandwich (you can customize your own). *UPDATE - 2nd visit, even better than first. Got a bagel, egg, cheese, bacon sandwich with jalapeño cream cheese spread - 5/5 stars & a campfire iced latte.

Fav when in town. Love picking a spot and working with my morning coffee. The service and hospitality from the girls are great! ❤❤❤

Really enjoyed this coffee shop right in the heart of Southport. Perfect place to pop into for some coffee and a snack. Staff were patient and helpful. Inside the cafe was clean including restrooms. Plenty of place to sit comfortably. I tried the iced vanilla latte - it was great!

Port City Java has reliable hours, serves breakfast all day and have cookies and pastries for a snack. Coffee consistency is good amongst all stores. Service was great here also. They offered too warm up the muffin!

Been going here for years. Wonderful staff, great drinks, and comfy seating. Great place to go to get some studying done or to grab a quick coffee. It’s also great for kids and has many options a child would enjoy. I highly recommend their smoothies and scones.

The stereotype of young workers with no personality DOES NOT APPLY at this cool place in downtown SP. I am 58 now and I get my share of "stare through me" service workers who are only pretending to work. The service is great and the coffee is extremely well chosen and prepared. I don't know for sure but I would not be surprised if they are roasting their own blends. The place looks small from the street but there is plenty of comfortable seating and the atmosphere is cozy.

This is my coffee joint. Local and I only get my coffee drinks here. Always have. The best.

I needed coffee for a brunch Sunday morning after my daughter's wedding and Port City Java provided plenty of coffee for the event. The coffee stayed hot for the brunch. There were just a few drops left after the bruch. Their large carafes of coffee match their brewed cups of coffee from the shop. It was perfect. I got to take credit for supplying great coffee for our guests.

Coffee was above average and delicious. I had a sausage egg and cheese bagel and was honestly blown away by the flavor and texture that this breakfast presented. Wifi was provided, as well as a very comfortable atmosphere. Employees seemed happy and treated well. Happy employees turn a coffee trip to a memorable experience.

Local authentic shop with a very nice atmosphere. Plenty of seating inside with sofas and tables. Cafe tables out front. Or, take your caffeine with you to the fishing pier 3 blocks away. Friendly baristas and good drip coffees on. House blend was my favorite. Their roasters is in Wilmington. 20 oz cup came up just under $3 with tax.

Incredibly kind service here! I'm very specific with how I enjoy my coffee and they accommodated all my questions, and even offered to fix my drink if it came out too sour or sweet. This was a gold standard experience.

Our favorite place to go.When we are down in Oak Island, or in the South Port vicinity, it's a MUST that we stop and get ourselves a cappacino or frappacino/ latte! Folks are so pleasant when serving us!

I finally had the opportunity to try this place. What a beautiful experience. I was greeted by a gal by the name of Candy. She was extremely pleasant and super friendly. She helped me with different options and went out of her way to make a difference. Great coffee shop with lots of goodies! Just a beautiful day to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful creation. 😊
