Dollar General

This store has excellent customer service. I purchased a chair thinking it was a chair that could recline. I didn’t keep the receipt thinking I wouldn’t need it. When I realized it wasn’t what I needed I went back to the store to return the chair….Cici helped me and very easily could have just given me a gift card and sent me on my way. But instead she took the time to call her manager to figure out how she could do a return without a receipt and put it back on my card. It was a complicated process but she never complained once. I was so appreciative of her kindness and impressed with her willingness to go above and beyond. I know this is a small thing but to see someone who cares and wants to help someone, even when it’s difficult, is rare today. I hope that her employers realize what a great employee they have in CiCi. She is a gift!

Update: June 2021. I am updating my review from 3 to 5 stars. The store has come a long way. It's been renovated and well stocked and It's a pleasure to shop there. They're still understaffed and seem to struggle to fill in all empty shelves timely, but this store has one of the best and most honest employees ever.. I have forgotten bags on couple of occasions and realized that a few days after the purchase. They've kept my stuff untouched and waited for the buyer to come back and claim it.. Respect!

This store is one I frequent often because of its convenient location, but it's far from my favorite. Some shelves are overstocked, messy and overflowing and others are completely empty. Most of the stuff is disorganized and half of their isles are blocked with either empty or full stocking carts. If you are trying to find something, it might take you quite some time or you'll end up trying to reach what you need fighting with 7 ft carts. The only reason why they get 3 stars is the staff. Staff is friendly, kind and helpful. Maybe they are understaffed and that's why it is what it is. Or maybe they need a better organized manager.

I love Dollar general because all in all it's just a great store! Especially if your a single mother like myself! And can't afford to shop at those high pricey stores! Who needs! Them when you have great stores like Dollar general to shop at without breaking the bank! 🤗👍🙏🌹

Friendly staff. They are understaffed though. Corporate doesn't give the staff enough time to get everything put away. But as for helpfulness. I have always been greeted with consideration. The staff are worth more than their paid.

Everytime I go to the store all of the employees speak to me. Ask if I found everything. No problem getting help to locate stuff. One of the best dollar generals I have been in.!!!!!

I had to get some paper towels and they have other thing like batteries, drinks, cookies, candy, and stuff for the lady's and the men. They have a wide variety of things.

Your average Dollar General. I go in to get 1 or 2 things & always come out with a buggy full. I guess that should speak for itself.

We go here because if you take your $5 coupon and all the other coupons that they have and that they accept you make Bank while getting the things you need saving those dollars
