It’s hard to beat the quality and price. In addition to ground beef, I particularly go here for chicken breast every week for $2.29/pound (family pack, 4 - 5 pounds). The packaging is also high-quality, not that there is a high bar to meet.

In contrast, the chicken breast at the Jewel Osco one block east costs $5/pound. They are freakishly gigantic with poor packaging: the excess juices can and will leak out if you don’t transport it upright.

Bigger than most that I have been too. It seems that there are more options than the smaller ones I have been to. It has a self checkout area. Customer service is great security is tight. Everything was reasonably priced. All in all 10 out of 10 highly recommend.

Amazing prices! The store isn't huge but has the essentials, and, most importantly, the Aldi Finds aisle.

Very spacious and clean. I found everything that I needed. Ice cream section is a bit small but that is honestly better to stop me😅

So glad to have one Aldi store steps from my home. This store is a little gem in a severely overpriced area and ridiculously high prices in the nearby grocery stores. I usually shop in this location. It is clean, well organized, great produce. I love all seasonal items they carry. The best part is that they installed the self checkout registers so people can check out quick and easy without waiting on line. My only complaint is that baskets are scarce and often missing and the shopping carts require payment to use them so you always need to bring a quarter to unlock the cart. Not sure why they require payment because none of the other Aldi stores I have been to require payment to unlock the cart but anyway, I love shopping in this store and will keep being a regular shopper.

I went later in the evening they had most of what I needed. Only problem I have it that there are too many self checkout and only one line open for people to use. Barely anymore room for people to be able to pack there groceries. So if you use self checkout then you have to pack your groceries while there which makes waiting time longer if you have a cart full of groceries. Everything still the same just they still have not been having most things I need cause there shipments are not coming in. But i still like going here cause I always get what I need and it is close to my house

Very good selections and prices. The meat is surprisingly good quality and reasonably priced. However, the bacon wrapped filets were inconsistent, but this was an unusual occurrence from the meat I purchase these. The marinated chicken is excellent. They have a nice beer and wine selection. Sauvignon Blanc for $7 is a great deal and it's good quality. My husband is German and they have his candy that he likes there. The store is spacious and well-lit and they take COVID precautions seriously. This is a good store to do your grocery shopping at.

Edit: I went to the store again and get my refund back! Really fast response and helpful staff!

just checked my bill and found that the cashier did a mistake for scanning the same item twice, wasted $8 for none. I was so busy that day and didn’t check it….Like I went there alone how am I supposed to carry two huge packs of 6 paper towel rolls, plus other groceries with no cart……

Typical Aldi like in Germany. All you need, good offers, good prices, friendly staff

This place has saved me from becoming completely destitute in Chicago. Is the food always the best? No. Is it usually the cheapest? Oh yeah.

Edit: I love this place. They have self checkout now so I don't have to interact with another human. The staff are very kind anyways tho. They always have the best stuff and items that can be hard to find or are sought after at other stores (and posted on auntie Facebook groups) are easily found here for some reason. Best Aldi.

Love the cleanliness and quick service. Everybody’s complaining because the cashiers don’t take the time to greet them and ask about their day and their dog; you don’t really care and neither do they. Get your stuff rung up, pay for it and get out of the way. We don’t need the line slowed down because you want to engage in unnecessary small talk and pleasantries.

Not too bad of a Northside within the Near North/Gold Coast neighborhood location. Prices were a bit higher than the suburban locations, but unfortunately that is the city of Chicago for you. However I am not a fan of self-serve checkouts but whatever needs to keep the lines down. Really didn't see a asian section over there. Maybe at other Chicago locations.

Bought Keebler mini pie-crusts. They had everything I wanted.
