Pretty great asian market with everything you could need! Their tea selection is incredible.

They seriously have one of everything here. We go for the fresh veg and herbs usually, but always grab some sweets! It's easy to spend a lot more time than you expected just walking around to see all the neat things they have!

Good variation of things. Hotpot stuff and frozen buns is the big takeaway for me.

Good selection of Asian food and the staff are really friendly. Vegetables are usually fresh and they have a good variety. They have a lot frozen good for steaming like soup dumplings, BBQ pork buns, dimsum stuff, etc.

So happy to have an Asian store in the neighborhood. Great selection. Got everything I need for pho, miso soup and bun Bo hue.

You know the giddy feeling you get when you've found literally everything on your shopping list plus also found some fun, unexpected things? I am trying to expand my cooking repertoire and this place has everything! The employees were all very friendly and they brought a positive energy to the store. I even found a beautiful bowl with matching rice bowl and spoon.

I have been there one time. I love asian snacks, candies and cakes. They have a great variety.

Love this place! The staff is friendly and the variety of products is great. The produce is also fresh and at a great price (tons of baby bok choy in a pack!). It's become one of our grocery store stops.

***UPDATE 7, I noticed today that the Shanghai market now has some dedicated parking spots close to the door....

***UPDATE #6, I have found that if I need to go to Costco (St Louis Park) and shanghai market that this location works great! Our is just a new minutes away on Cedar Lake Rd South.

***UPDATE #5. YES, THEY ARE OPEN! Our family is so happy that the Shanghai market has re opened... it is a nice upgrade from the old location. We just socked up on fresh veggies, sausages, bamboo shoots (could not find our favorite version at any other Asian market on the twin cited), and, of course, do dim sum.

*** UPDATE#4 Stopped by today, 19 September and and they were moving product into the store. I asked one of the workers when they would be open... he said the opening was "about" a week way! Still no sign on the building. It's great to see progress being made! We are excited about the re-opening.

*** UPDATE#3 As it was getting close to the date, they hoped to reopen... I reached out again. They still need around 20 days. New target opening date around 19 September 2022. I talked with staff at the St. Paul store (10% off every thing there every day), and they said the city inspection was due to happen by the 26th of August, if passed they could begin stocking the shelves ***

I love that I'm now able to go here and shop for, you know, Chinese walnut shortcake cookies, shimeji mushrooms and fresh quail eggs!

Amazing selection, very good priced. Was worried I wouldn't be able to get the ingredients to make my favorite dishes but they had everything. Not to mention amazingly priced and very good quality meats.

Store was clean as can be and well organized. Beautiful selection of fresh vegetables that were very neatly packaged. We purchased a variety of mushrooms, lemongrass, garlic, ginger, onions, bok choy, most of which were weighed at checkout for price. As you'd imagine, they also have an enormous selection of canned vegetables and sauces with multiple brands of each item, some with English, some not translated. Massive frozen section and aisle with tools to prepare Asian foods and beverages. Employees were extremely friendly and efficient at checkout. Will be back!

The staff are very friendly and helpful. There is an interesting variety of foods from all over Asia here. We often go here to get specialty tofu products in the refrigerated section.

A great little store full of culinary treasures! Went for some spice to make Kimchi ... They had what I needed. Also got a super cute bowl with a cat painted in it. Cashier was friendly and welcoming. Definitely will be back - glad to have a spot in the burbs so I don't have to trek into the city!!

It was moved to a new location and the store is more spacious and brighter now. It's easy to find the things that I need in this store and the price is reasonable. I like getting fresh veggies and Asian spices and sauce here.

Great local grocery store, glad to see them open again after relocating from Hopkins area. I'll take almost any excuse to stop in and get more noodles and hot pot base.

The place is great. Not as much selection as United noodles, but it has the stuff I am usually looking for and is small enough that you really feel like you are supporting a local business.

Great store. Friendly staff, clean store and lots of great options. They have my favorite Old Town Coffee too.
