Great store for everything old school video games and even current platforms too! My daughter needed some switch controllers since hers stopped working or she wore them out. She was able to find colors here that she normally couldn't find at any of the big name stores. She also loved spinning the prize wheel and getting a discount too! Highly recommend this store as the staff is super friendly, helpful, and professional!

Please check out this place for your game purchases before a place like GameStop, even if it's a bit more of a drive I promise it's worth it, and a better business worthy of your money. Wonderful place with a good selection of games, and reasonable prices. The staff is incredible and the girl working the counter was really kind and helpful towards us. I ended up getting MarioTennis for the GBC for a price that was cheaper than anything on amazon or ebay, when including shipping. I had a 20% off coupon that she made sure it was worked in correctly. I just wish they had more n64 games but someone sadly bought them clean a few weeks before I came. I will definitely come back down next time I'm in the area.

If you like physical video game merch, It's a much better option than GameStop. They deliberately do better returns than GameStop too. The staff always looks like they enjoy working there compared to GameStop. Owner/s seem incredibly chill and passionate about gaming. Always a pleasure to talk to.

Great place for retro games. Bought two good games for Game Boy. Come and get your games here. Don't look elsewhere, nothing beats their prices.

Had a bad experience at the Hampton location however the customer service at this location was amazing and they made it clear that they really wanted me to have good faith in the company as a whole and accommodated me. I came for breath of Fire but decided to also buy a gamecube and some additional games due to the amazing customer service.

The staff at these stores has always been amazing! In fact, they went above and beyond when I had an issue recently with an Xbox game disc I purchased. Please don’t give your business to other stores, this place is so much better! Both locations I’ve been to have had a wonderful selection of games/consoles/accessories from almost any era of gaming (definitely a ton more than any GameStop I’ve ever seen). They also stock a small variety of toys, puzzles and Pop Vinyls and the like. Pay them a visit, you will most certainly not regret it!

This store has everything to set your old school gaming heart alight with old consoles, games, and figurines. Their staff is friendly and very knowledgeable. The prices are reasonable and support the local stores and staff. They also perform battery replacement of old cartridges.

Well my visit was great, instantly fell into a feeling of being a child again. They have all the older systems and games i grew up with, very nice and fair prices and there games. And they don't low ball you like Game stop on trade ins, another thing is if your looking for a game and they don't have it in stock they will get it for you. I find that to be quite nice and handy, so say all that and more can be said. I give them five starts, there very nice and knowledgeable people. Go check them out, you will leave with a smile on your face.

This is my favorite game store. The staff is always pleasant, I look forward to talking games with them as I browse the games as much as finding a new game to play. They are patient as my indecision causes me to spend admittedly more time than it should take to pick a game. Whenever I can not decide I ask for a suggestion and their recommendations always end up making me spend hours playing the game they recommend. If I could rate 10 out of five stars I wouldn't even hesitate.

Ive been going here since they opened on bridge rd and before the Wednesday night trivia nights. i wont go to any other video game store, Being able to interact with the owners like that really made it feel like i was shopping at a friends store. The prices are the absolute best and the variety of games is amazing. Thanks for being here for us gamers!!

Been Going here ever since I was 6 or 7 getting DS games . Workers have always been nice and helpful, every Phone Call I’ve ever made was short and straight to the point. Prices are great and there’s a good selection. Only complain I’ve ever had was a controller was bought for me and I wanted to return it they said they could only give store credit even thought It was bought 15 minutes before I called which I understand but money back would have been nice

Selection varies so you have to go to the store often, the prices are comparable to online and beat out chain stores. The sales people are friendly and helpful. I noticed a negative review regarding bad consoles I don't believe this person went back to the store to discuss with the workers because I am sure the issue would have been rectified.

I love love love love this store. I've been to 2 of the three locations and and the owners I've met have been nothing less than awesome. If you've been looking for a store that sells both new and retro games and console check them out not to mention they have consoles and handheld consoles you won't find anywhere else (I promise) cool thing about this store is let's say for instance you have a OG Xbox and you are looking for NBA Street Vol 2 #Classic if they don't have it the store will order it for you and you just come pick it up and a little higher then they would sell if the stocked that game because they had to order it but the price won't be high at all. The deals you get on retro games are amazing and unbeatable by 2 get 3 free come one. In a nutshell GO TO OLDSKOOL GAMES ASAP

Well, the best word to describe this place is awesome. The staff is very knowledgeable. I should know because I bought a sega genesis from video game heaven in norfolk, yet oldskool video games gave me advice on what to use for it since I have an hdtv. Also when I was setting up my snes to my hdtv using new cables I bought at oldskool, the employee took the time to help me set it up over the phone. Best customer service I had experienced. I would highly recommend this place over Gamestop. Thanks!

Sharing a story> A couple years back i went to sell my 1st generation ipod touch i first went to Gamestop, I wasn't expecting much either way because it was a 1st gen, they offered me $20. I was hesitant to that offer and refused. I later went to Old Skool and they gave me $100 for it. The story is over but due to that experience they gained a loyal customer who will endorse them until the day i die, Better deals for your money and significantly higher trade in rates than gamestop. The employees and owner are very nice and if you go in there a lot like i have, they will often remember you.

I love your stores but for the love of god PLEASE change your stickers! Theres no reason i should have to use goo gone everytime i buy a game. Theyre literally impossible to peal off with leaving sticky residue or pealing parts in pieces. Almost as bad as gamestop yellow stickers...almost

Without question the best game store around! This is where the real "Power to the players" is at. Best prices, best store credit, day one games always there, employees are awesome, and where else can you buy and sell under PS3 and XBOX360...nowhere! If your s gamestop buyer and or member I urge you to strongly reconsider making OldSkool your first stop!! Go nation wide guys you rock!!

Excellent and knowledgeable staff, also has a variety of Funko pops and amibos, they do trade ins for both games and pops, and buy/sell rare games as well.
