Northgate Market

My 2nd time here, and I just can't get over the variety. Wide variety of ready-made foods from tamales to guac to caldo de pollo.

Incredible looking bakery section, cakes, pan, aguas frescas, very clean and abundant meat dept.

We will be back to explore more in future weeks!

Maria Padilla was extremely helpful. She went above and beyond to assist me when I had trouble ordering food. She made my shopping experience fast and easy. I will 100% be returning to this store.

Love this store. Love the different varieties of items in their own area so you can purchase hot food to go or to eat there. You can go to bakery area and pick out your choices or order a special cake. You can go to meat area and wow, what nice selection and cuts of meat they have for your choosing. Also I like the fact that they have all beef in one area, all pork in another, all poultry in another and of course the seafood has its own area also. Great selection of vegetables and produce also.
Staff personnel walking around and very polite asking if you need help finding anything in particular.

I will be shopping here more often. This store was clean and fully staffed and had great looking produce, a full food bar that includes homemade tamales, fresh tortillas and aguas frescas, and so much more.

Large, clean store with everything you need from a supermercado. Fresh fruit and vegetables and a robust meat selection. I especially liked the specialty aisle.

Excellent selection of fresh fruits and vegetables. The staff are all bilingual and go out of their way to help find things. I specially like the fresh daily selection of ceviches available. Many other Deli selections that are well made daily.

Prices are affordable. Store is very clean. The smells of fresh food are amazing as you walk into the store. My new favorite grocery!

Spice up your life and head over to Northgate Market! A great, clean place to find a lot of really good Mexican food and all the ingredients you will need to make a delicious Mexican food dinner at home. They have a very friendly staff that will help you find exactly what you need.

Good products. free phones are given out when you enter this store. You need to take a medical kit with you.

This location is my favorite Northgate store to go to the produce is always fresh it just looks amazing when you're entering smell the fresh food that's being made and that's authentic ladies . I do want to mention that the location that they have in fallbrook which is where I live could take a good look at the vista location and have some ideas if that's what Fallbook should look like.

I am granding Northgate Vista a 5 stars rating based on the improvements I have witnessed during today's visit. Obvious improvements to three years ago. On top of cleanest of the store including the food preparation and meet department areas, employee's sanitation practices and product availability employees are really nice. Great selections on all departments. Best $6.00 carnitas burrito I have tried in years and the lady who made it for me built it as I requested her. Will be going back often.

This review is based on the bakery and food department: the customer service that the ladies and gentlemen provide is excellent. The food is delicious and always fresh. An associate recommended a sauce I hadnt tried before. The sauce she recommended is now my favorite. Thank you!

Wonderful place with great places and nice people. Some Spanish may be a good choice but is not required. Good source for fresh veggies and spices. Love the cheese and sausage selection as well. Highly suggest their tortillas and deli counter as well.

If you like Mexican food this is the place to go. The sweetbreads they have are amazing they also have homemade tamales chicken beef pork and cheese and jalapeno which is delicious all of them are very good. As you walk in the door you're greeted are these girls that are serving homemade cooling refreshing drinks. Don't pick one, ask the girl it's actually serving the drinks what she recommends. She will mix you up a concoction are several different drinks when she asks you what kind of stuff do you like and believe me these are delicious concoctions. The cashiers are amazingly friendly everybody did I ran across that work in that store went over and above to try to be friendly and to help make the experience well worth going there. Will I go back heck yes I've already been back a couple of times and I plan on continuing to go back!

We're so lucky to have Northgate in our neighborhood! I love the deli, hot food to go for great prices. And they have so many prepared meats. Then there's the carniceria, meat prepared in many ways and several marinated and ready to cook. Spend some time here to fully appreciate the awesomeness that is our local Northgate Market!! Oh yeah, come hungry. 😋

My number one store for shopping for my ingredients. it is a good thing I know a little bit of Spanish because I have no issue when I go to this store!
