What amazing customer service! Needed help installing new DE license plate since bolts rusted on plate. Team removed plate, found new bolts and installed for us. Just moved from PA and so happy to have Hockers near us! What a blessing to the community!

So helpful! I needed a small screw for my refrigerator handle. Of course i brought the old screw to the store. I drop the screw and the employee spent the next 30 minutes helping me find the screw. Thank you!

Great local hardware store. Plenty of people to help you when you're there. They typically have one of each item so you're not going to get a lot of selection like you would with a box store. But if you're in a pinch and you need something without driving all the way to town, this is your place. Also, they have a great selection of nails, screws, bolts, etc.

G&E Hardware is great, local hardware store that has a bit of everything. Very helpful staff, unlike Home Depot, but somewhat higher prices. I go there like once a week when staying in Bethany.

I have frequented this fabulous family-owned hardware store for many years! The prices are fair and the service is top notch. Family members are available to professionals and amateur repairers alike. They actually carry some items not found in Home Depot. This is a gem of a local hardware business!

Great service, great selection. I needed lumber for a weekend project and mistakenly thought I would get a better price at the big lumber yard in the same town. Not only was the big store more expensive but they also will not cut lumber for you. I asked G&E if the would cut some deck boards in half for me and it was no problem and only $2.00 per cut, much cheaper than renting a truck. Their hardware selection is extensive and they are very knowledgeable if you need help. I have gone here for years and just realized how good they truly are. I won't go anywhere else again.

Great service and amazing selection. I've found items here-including odd size furnace filters-that even the big box hardware stores don't carry. They also have a huge selection of trim and other wood products in the shed out back that most don't even realize is there.

Had exactly what I was looking for (individual Allen wrench, instead of having to buy a whole set) plus hardware. The staff here were super helpful to me. Definitely the best place around here to get hardware and tools.

Our family has spent summer vacations in Bethany Beach for 34 years. We bought a condo 7 years ago, and next year will be spending even more time now that I’ve retired. One of the constants in our years of visits has been going to G&E first for any hardware or home goods needs. They’re always well stocked, the staff is knowledgeable and friendly.

If you need it, it is here! This store has everything from Guns to Fishing bait to Garden hoses. It looks small on the outside, but it is packed full of everything you would normally have to run to Lowes to get.

First visit, found the staff helpful and had what I needed for a small roof repair. Much better than big box experience!

New store now open in the old grocery store next door. Seems well laid out. Had plenty of what I went in to purchase.
