Our favorite spot to eat downtown. We try to eat at the bar whenever possible and tend to load up on fresh pastries after dinner for the next morning; sadly, the croissants rarely make it to the next day. A James Beard awarded chef and killer team. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

This place is truly a gem in the storm. The food is delicious, the staff is kind and courteous. If you get the opportunity they are highly recommended.

Such a unique spot offering hot meals, fresh produce, fun wines, homemade breads and pastries, & much more. The Schroeders care a lot about good food and it certainly shows.

I can't say enough nice things about this market. Their philosophy of using locally-sourced ingredients and supporting other area small businesses is wonderful. The environment is so homey that entering feels like joining a family gathering for a great meal. The staff are attentive, gracious and really, REALLY, good at food. The dishes - from pastas, to meat & fish, to ethnic offerings like Indian which are sadly lacking in Brunswick - are all executed brilliantly. Run, don't walk, to this fantastic restaurant. Just don't take my stool!

Y’all!!! The best place EVER!!! The food is top-notch… the pastries and croissants are light and melt in your mouth… and the selection of local produce and specialty items is off the chain!!! Not to mention that the staff is warm, welcoming and just all-around good people… This is a MUST for a late breakfast, lunch, and dinner… Plus a dash-in for those homemade peanut butter cookies!!! You will leave happy!!!

Wow, Wow, WOW! This place checks every box for me. The atmosphere is incredibly welcoming and warm, and the staff makes you feel like you just stepped into someone's home for a nice meal. Now... THE FOOD. There are not enough amazing words to describe the versatile flavors and dishes Schroeder's offers. No matter what you decide to get, I promise it will be amazing!

Schroeder’s has earned five stars every time I have eaten there. Today, however, they went above and beyond. I had forgotten my lunch and my husband went to pick something up for me. They were between breakfast and lunch and didn’t have anything ready. Instead of telling my husband to come back at lunch, they put together the best bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit I have ever had. They also offered to make a chicken salad sandwich and he took that too. Also delicious! It really made my rainy Friday much brighter!

This is a great addition to downtown Brunswick. There is a great market with fresh vegetables and meats. There is a deli inside with a menu that changes daily with specials. There is also a fresh bakery with a variety of pastries.

Highly recommend checking this place out. The menu changes every day based on what local ingredients are fresh, and they know their stuff in the kitchen. Very friendly folks and a great low-key atmosphere.

I almost hesitate to share this review, because I don’t want folks to know about the best kept secret in Glynn County. This place is tremendous, and dare I say one of the top restaurants in our area. The chefs expertly prepare a daily variety of small and large plates and baked goods. They bend over backwards to make sure the customer is well taken care of. My wife and I have never had a bad meal here. We love their Sunday Brunch! See y’all there!

We had them cater our wedding and they did such a fantastic job! Their communication, creativity, execution and professionalism were all top notch.
All of our guests raved about the charcuterie station, the freshness of the salads and the flavor of the meats for our taco bar.
I would highly recommend them for any event!

Schroeder’s Market is such an amazing (and vital!) addition to the downtown area. The freshly prepared food changes daily, making each new day an opportunity to try something new. The market itself has a great selection of quick grocery items, including speciality foods, toiletries and essentials. The wines and grab-and-go drinks are well stocked, too.

But the most important element of this downtown establishment is the wonderful staff at Schroeder’s. Sometimes, I stop in just to say hello. Hannah is my favourite 😉

Cleanliness, friendliness, quality food, and prompt service are their hallmarks. My wife and I had a fantastic experience. When the chef recommended the cheeseburger sub I was initially hesitant. It quickly became a 5 star hit. Grilled sub roll, delicious, fresh made crumbled cheeseburger, lettuce, tomato, onions. You WILL NOT be disappointed.
