Winn-Dixie

I had a taste for something different, as far as desserts go, so I decided to stop by Winn Dixie in Brunswick, Georgia. Yes, I said Winn Dixie. I’m assuming that due to the holidays their selection was slim, but lo and behold there was one last slice of chocolate peanut butter cake on the shelf and apparently it was waiting just for me. When I say delicious and decadent, you better hear me! Actually, those two words are an understatement. This cake was so good, well balanced, and believe it or not, it wasn’t too sweet. The price was a steal at $3.99. This cake would have been $7.00 - $11.00 at a fine dining restaurant. If it is not a regular item on the shelf, it should become one. Although I live two hours from there, I am going back soon just to get another slice or two of the rich chocolatey and peanut buttery delight!

Friendly staff, good selection of food, cashier helped me register a rewards account at the register to make sure I got the best prices.

Winn Dixie stores are clean and competitively priced. The chain is notoriously known for quality cuts of meats and the produce section always smells fresh and crisp.

Super Great place!!! Good variety! Fresh food that you can trust. Very clean!!! Very pleasant, helpful and courteous staff. They really seem to know what their doing so it doesn't take long. Everything you could ask for and more, too. It really helps take the hassle and pressures out of grocery shopping. The Best!!!!!! (The Deli is fantastic, too!!)

This location was actually very nice and huge on the inside. The store had really good sales but I was only there too grab a few personal items and head to my hotel. The cashier and the bagger was super friendly. I would most definitely visit this location again. A++

The last few times visiting and the lady ( don't no her name ) was there today is always checking on customers, kind and polite.

Impressed with the manager here who always is helpful and you can tell works to make it a good shopping experience for customers. He opened up a new line to check me out one day and then noticed one of the oranges in my bag was spoiled so he got a new bag for me. Today he was quickly helping restock some produce. The staff is friendly.

The cashier was very patient with me being that i was checking out like 3 minutes after the store was suppose to be closed and i had coupons to use as well. The cashier handled it great and i was very appreciative of his behaviour. They also had a wonderful sale going along with B1G1 that week. Love WD..

Good place to shop they also have a great daily bar for carry outs

First time renting a moving truck from here, had to wait in line for what seemed like forever and then had to wait even longer for them to go out and inspect the truck. But when my credit card was denied 3 times (my bank deemed the charge suspicious and suspended my card) The young gentleman was kind and courteous and never once made me feel like less of a person because of the card issues. Thank you! That makes all the difference in the world

They are THE MEAT PEOPLE. A very large selection, including Duck. They are very reasonably priced and with their BO GO, I usually save $50.00 - $60.00 on my monthly shopping. The store is clean and well stocked and the employees are always friendly and will stop what they are doing to walk you to what ever you are trying to find.

Very nice store. Well laid out and easy to find everything. Staff is amazing and very friendly.

Their hot and cold line meals are only $7! I come here to get lunch almost daily, certainly a money saver and good wholesome meals.

Chris in produce helped me immediately and was SUPER friendly! I shared my frustrations (that led me to Winn Dixie) with Chris and he even went the extra mile to help me understand why I would have had an issue at another grocery store. I purchase a case of bananas 2x a week and the process couldn't have been made easier. Thanks, Chris, for your help! I'll be back every week!

This Winn Dixie has a larger variety than the others. It also has a wing bar but they aren't worth the $6.99 lb price. Do make sure you grab a box or two of their fresh, hot fried chicken to take home though!

Why do I keep returning? Simple. FANTASTIC and CONSISTENT customer service from two specific employees: Angela (Cashier) and Chris (Produce). When available, I come 2x a week for 40lb case of bananas and they make it super simple process by having the case label ready to go and always with a smile. These two are a definite ASSET to this location!
