Amazing food and beverages at all over the place prices. Super stuff, very convenient. The liquor, deli, and meat is top notch at fair prices. You'll find great items that no place else has. They will order things for you if you have favorites you can't find. Just don't buy regular groceries there unless you are in a hurry. Progresso soup was 4x the Kroger sale price, and most items are about 50% - 60% more than regular grocery stores. Stop in and shop wisely, and you'll love what you find!

I love going to this place! They have my favorite sausage there. They are the only ones in town and probably in the entire state of Michigan that has the recipe for Belgian sausage. This is such a unique grocery store with many homemade food items prepared and unprepared. They have a huge variety of products here. The only drawback is that they are in an unsafe location right on the border of Detroit. It's not in a good neighborhood at all. But if you're ever down in the area this store is definitely worth a visit!!

This is a wonderful store. The staff keep the shelves in meticulous condition. They have hard to find spices and other items. They include a large international selection of foods. The only drawback is the high prices. There is no reason for an additional $3 a pound for lunch meat and cheeses and other products.

I’ve been going here for many years and have seen this place before and after the big expansion and renovation. They have so many delicious premade meals, soups, salads, lunchmeat, fruit and vegetables, and more.

My step mother told me about this market, and after my first visit, I knew I would be a return customer. Their prices are on the high side, but you can definitely see, and taste the difference, and aside from regular groceries, This place has a great hot food bar, and counter with many delicious options, as well as a great deli meat counter (unlike some other grocery stores in the area, the deli meat that I have purchased from Village Market has always been fresh & good tasting). They have some amazing chicken salad there too.

Now if your pickets are deep with money this is the place to go fresh vegetables, tomahawk steaks, bison burgers, all types of fresh meats and fresh, imported wines, breads I was in awe first time visit. I loved it will be going back for shrimps, steaks, etc. they also sell freshly prepared foods too soups, stuffed potatoes, etc. Great store.

Just a phenomenal selection of everything you want and need with the added bonus of incredible customer service. Not inexpensive, but worth it. Many long time employees so it must be a nice place to work.

(Suggestion: They need to fix the checkout line queue situation. Technically it's a first come first served honor system but more and more people ignore that and push their way to a cashier they see is close to finishing with a customer, often cutting ahead of several other people.)

My favourite mkt ever! The selection is small yet insane. The customer service is top tier, and the best part is the prepared foods section!

I love this place! It has an old school feel to it. Everyone there is always nice and are always helpful.

I used to shop for organic produce here years ago when Village Market was more of a bodega than a coffee house. Produce and goods are still sold here in smaller quantities. One can purchase milk, eggs, cheeses, wine, bread here still.

Love this place although the markup in price is evident in comparison to kroger or whole foods

Mark, the owner and operator, works tirelessly to bring his customers the absolute best in quality and service. He never stops working - even though he doesn’t need to- right through the covid-19 pandemic. He truly loves his customers and we love him too!

Chatted with one of the managers today while shopping there for the first time since before the renovation. He was willing to help me source a really rare French butter that is hand made in small batches - I have never had this level of service at a grocery store before. I was thoroughly impressed! The store is beautiful and the selection is absolutely amazing; however, they need to expand again because I NEED MORE. I love to cook and this is the grocery store I have been looking for. Also, would love to see them bring in more local partners, like Matt Knio of Cannell’s breads, viennoiserie and patisserie work. Or some Mediterranean staples that are hard to find outside of Dearborn (I need a quality harissa paste and I don’t want to always make it) And maybe some more produce in general. Idk my first experience back was wonderful - kinda reminded me of a cross between a Nino’s, a Plum Market, and the early days of Erewhon. 10/10.

Staff is super friendly and will always help you find things. Fast check out and has rewards program. The store does tend to have more specialty and high end items in store instead of the generic name brand item so it can get a bit more pricey than normal grocery stores, but you pay for the quality. Also has a vast assortment of wine and cheese.

Beautiful meat counter! Friendly staff. Wonderful customer service. They make their own Belgian sausage. I traveled almost an hour just to get some! No one in my area carries it.
