Corner Market

I have shopped here nearly 20 years. Their staff is cheerful, helpful and knowledgeable, and the store stocks a wide variety of items. Their meat in particular is good. I buy all my meat here.

Really nice place to shop. Clean, deli is great! They have a large selection of hot and cold meals available for on the go folks. They even have a salad bar and a spot to grab some fresh sliced/diced fruits and veggies.

I work for a locally owned food service business, and had an emergency needing a kind of disposable servingware for a 9 am order tomorrow, it's currently 7 pm. I called Corner Market and asked for a manager, who explained that was out of his area of specialty and asked to transfer me to the bakery. He was friendly and kind. The young lady, Autumn, who answered the phone went WAY above and beyond. I hate asking other people to do "special" favors, because they aren't required to. However I know it brings me joy to unexpectedly help someone in an "emergency " when I'm working, so it depends on who answers the phone. She went and hunted down the item i needed. Returned my phone call at my request because I wanted to call other places to check. Offered to text me pictures of the item when we hung up!!! Then offered to be the point person for my husband to ask for. Yes, all of these things may constitute "normal" customer service, but service is a dying art and I was so impressed with a young lady eager to help someone (specifically someone described as their competition!) at no personal gain other than satisfaction and praise. If I could give Autumn a raise, I would. Heck, we would have a pizza party for Autumn if it was up to me! Way to keep the art of service alive!

Thank you to Joseph and the bakery team! We brought a picture of the cake we wanted to Joseph who created our order form with so much detail that the cake came out as good if not better than the picture. His attention to detail is amazing, we had a beautiful cake & cup cakes for the baby shower. 10 out of 10!!

Great place to shop with an amazing selection of food. If you have never tried dry aged beef you'll have to pick some up to put on the grill! Trust me its worth it!

Such a pretty store. Open on Thanksgiving with everything we needed. The manager even opened up a register to get us out faster.

Very friendly manager the best baked chicken we got the special stew cabbage sweet potatoes cherry cobbler with a free tea or lemonade we enjoyed our lunch very much Ty

Since Walmart now closes at 8:30ish, due to CoVid19 Pandemic 😷, my clan of girls today, (in no particular order) Emma, Emily, Tiffany, Suzy, Lashanda, and myself, ventured to Corner Market, on Hardy Street, instead of our usual 49 Walmart trips. Since I had forgotten a mask, the Service Desk gave all of us our own masks! Way cool!! Even though the front entrance said the masks weren't required, the Service Desk was offering them free, 6 to be exact. The Circle K store beside my house is selling them for right at $4 each! Although we were somewhat lost, all the nice large hanging signs made it very helpful to navigate. So, we got what we needed to make tacos 🌮for supper, and a few other things to make meals for the rest of the week. Within about an hours time, we manged to mingle from one end of the store all the way to the other end, starting at the right side. I specifically loved how they had enough employees to serve almost every isle! All of them were very courteous, professional, and successful, while asking if they could help us, and they all made me feel very comfortable. It almost seemed as if this store was a better choice, even though the timing was our reason for ending up here. Obviously, the main drawback seemed to be the the higher prices. However, I discovered some items I've never saw before! One in particular was called 🥓
"Bacon Up," which basically said it was a pint-sized container of bacon grease! Wow! That's a new one that I've gotta try next time I come here! Oh! And they had some killer displays, which I got a couple photos of with some of the girls!! Check them out, and check out this store!

Just getting a chance to review this delightful, innovative, gem located in Hattiesburg, Ms, after seeing an ad on Roku. My sister and I evacuated, for a hurricane we had a few years ago and we landed in Hattiesburg, Ms. We happened upon The Corner Market while visiting her Alma Mater, USM. I was absolutely elated! I have Celiac's Disease and the Corner Market is like Ralph's in CA and Rouses in New Orleans to name those few places that have foods that a Celiac needs and they're not so damned expensive! Corner Market is well stocked, innovative and pleasant. I hope they continue to thrive. I found everything I needed to survive plus some new foods!!!!

Bought a cake from bakery and it was,well you have to taste one to believe it. They are beautiful. The store is very clean. The person that checked me out was awesome ( wish I could remember his name) very good selection. Nothing to complain about.

Had a gr8 experience. stopped here to get a few grocery items and toiletries, and when I passed by the bakery, I had to grab one of their tasty cakes. Highly recommend stopping here!!!

Always so clean with the most courteous and friendly staff. Love everything from the deli, sushi bar, popcorn bar, fresh meat and packaged meat and produce areas. SO FRESH! MY FAVORITE! Even has items I can't find anywhere else since I moved from California!! Well done guys!!

I could live in this store. I love the selection, the variety and the layout. The store has a great all over aesthetic and just feels like you're going through an old world market. Yes, the pricing is higher but the quality more than makes up for the new pennies.

Corner market is so nice , the layout is just right for senior like myself. The store was clean and neat. In each dept. the staff were on their jobs, u pay for quality. The produce dept was fresh. I will be going back soon.

If I could afford it, I'd go for everything!

Our Moana Birthday cake was pretty pretty and delightfully delicious! We did chocolate cake with their classic white icing.
Hot plates? That's a yes please!
Sushi a must!
The meat selection is always where its at.
And can't leave out always a pleasant staff!! Keep up the great work guys!!

Love grocery cleanliness. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. This store has it all!! We also love the lunch/salad bar...we have lunch from there at least one time per week. Recommend all this for our family/friends.
