Keg & Barrel

I found this place while on a road trip back to Dallas and it is such a gem. The space is huge but the servers are really attentive and the old house setting gives it a great vibe. They have an extensive beer list from all over the south and the food is delicious. And they are super dog friendly!

We were visiting from out of state and this was our first visit to Keg & Barrel. We sat outside on the porch and it was very comfortable in the shade. Several TVs and a jumbotron were showing sports, but from where we sat it was peaceful and the sound was not obtrusive. Service was excellent and our server even gave us good suggestions for places to visit in Hattiesburg. Our burgers and fries were delicious, the iced tea was cold and refills kept coming. We have this restaurant marked on our GPS so we can visit again on our next trip through Mississippi.

Wasabi tuna, debris fries, shrimp and grits, and a turkey club. Everything was pretty good and definitely better than average “bar food” draft beer was nice and cold! Seating is first come first serve self seating which was a little confusing and it inconvenient but seemed to work well with their concept and their general crowd. This location seemed to be a bit more of a bar vibe with less personal service than the other locations. We will be back when in the area.

This place greatly exceeded my expectations. This was my first time going, and I thought it was just a place for people to drink beer and listen to music, but the food is beyond exceptional. I ordered the red fish, which came with a side of grits and summer squash. The fish was purely immaculate. Cooked and seasoned just right. The grits were exceptional as well. They were very savory and had a nice cheesy taste. The squash was a nice addition to the meal. I think 16 dollars is fair for that quality of food. I also ordered a separate side of fries, and good googly moogly were they yummy. Imagine fries you get a restaurant, and now imagine them even better, and now you have Keg & Barrel’s fries. I think it’s also worth mentioning that the atmosphere is awesome!

Great place. Over 55 beers on tap many local craft brews, great food, variety of places to sit inside or out, service was good dispute being very busy on beautiful Saturday afternoon. Would be habit forming if I lived here.

Atmosphere is great and the place is huge. They have a lot of indoor and outdoor seating options and the place has a rustic feel to it, which I really liked.
Food is great. I especially liked their kettle chips with onion dip. Beer selection is good and prices are reasonable. Will visit again....

Imma give it five stars because the place and the food were great. I was invited here by friends, and while overall the place isn't one I'd frequent, that's mainly because it's very loud and is a sports oriented establishment. Great food, fast service even though it was pretty busy, friendly staff, HUGE screen out back. Loved the overall design. A unique restaurant in an age of cookie cutter places.

Always a good option. They have enough variety on the menu, and the atmosphere is always fun. There is more seating than you can shake a stick at, and the keg stand burger is the bomb. I just wish they could sell me a bottle of the Guinness steak sauce.... *cough*

Busy lil place but very good food. Nice relaxed atmosphere!

Great service, food, and atmosphere. Waiter Anna is an asset! My first visit was on graduation for lunch celebrating my son with a party of 25. She provided superb service even though I’m sure it was a hectic day. Hats off to the chef and staff as well the presentation of the food was excellent along with the taste.

This place is incredible! Everything on their menu looks amazing. I tried the redfish tacos and the Korean bbq burger and both were delicious. We also had the wasabi panko crusted ahi tuna - the wasabi adds a nice kick but it’s great! Excellent selection of draft beer and the service was top notch!

Wonderful spot! We were traveling and happened upon this gem. Dog friendly patio- in fact they brought treats and water bowl. Food was incredible- miles above bar food.

They are super busy . The service was good and the food was also . The drinks were good also.
The only bad was the house ketchup sucked

By far the best meal of our vacation! Great atmosphere! Young and hip for this old couple! We loved it.

It's sad to say but it's hard to find good food here in Hub City, but look no further this place has everything from coffee, to a good blackberry sour, chicken and waffles, or Thai chicken nachos. Whatever it is, it's all delicious and great service from the bar staff. He let me and my husband try a few sours before we found what we loved and the atmosphere is so casual an cool. We will be regulars here for sure.
Just don't go to the one by the mall..that one is terrible.

Cool place. I was only here for a short time but the patio was nice.
