Pantego Books

This is a small independent bookstore located in Pantego with an outstanding selection. The owner is so nice and knowledgable, and has setup the store for easy browsing. The children's area in the back is perfect for your little ones to explore.
I loved all of the little book nerd gifts, candles, and stationary she had available in addition to the books.
Take some time to make your way to this shop and support a local independent bookseller, you won't regret it. We are so fortunate to have Pantego Books and we need to do our part to support them.

We love this bookstore! The crew/owners are always helpful and kind. My daughter had 7 minutes and found three books she wanted. They have a little something for everyone. Highly suggest checking it out!

For a small store this place has a great selection of books for all ages. Prior to visiting I did browse online and pre-selected a few books and the staff member there was able to help me find them so I could spend time browsing. Check this place out you won't be disappointed 😀

Loved this shop! They have an eclectic variety of books. They have a 'blind date with a book' selection where the books are wrapped with brown paper and a very small review is on the outside. They have book marks, jewelry and shirts for book lovers. Stop in and give it a once over and support your local book store!

Amazing locally owned book store in pantego. The staff are wonderful and always have fun author events going on at the store. Probably my wife's favorite place to go

It is small but it is mighty! The local author scene has definitely come out in force to support it. I never knew I could just run into authors at any time in a bookstore. Lots of book clubs and you can even rent for a date night!

This is a remarkable small, independent book store well worth your time. I was amazed at the quality of selections. The owner is knowledgeable and gracious. Go, get books, enjoy and celebrate a wonderful new experience you will want to share and repeat. Books for all ages!

This bookstore is AMAZING! My partner and I stopped in after an event we were helping with on the UTA campus and I am sooo glad we did. We were pleasantly surprised with their diverse, thoughtful, and beautifully-displayed collection. I found multiple books that I already loved, some that we at the top of my to-read list, and others that immediately got added to the list and purchased!! They even had cute book-themed stickers at a reasonable price!

The owners achieved a perfect balance of customer service by engaging in conversation about books we had questions about but never making us feel like we were a marketing target. That does not happen often and I really enjoyed my time in the store. I wish that I lived closer so I could come back more often! I am following their social media and love their creative content. This bookstore really is an asset to the community. It is obvious that the owners are passionate about this space and curating it well! Thank you for a very happy surprise after a stressful Saturday. :)

Morgan helped to select an appropriate book for my kiddo and offered many recommendations to me, when I vaguely expressed what I want to read next.

When I remembered the name of a text I was interested in, she was able to special order it directly from the publisher at a better price than any I had seen online.

So glad to have found this gem, and will certainly be sourcing all of my family's reading material here going forward! Shop small and local!

I didn't buy anything, but I did have a looksies. If you're in the area and you're looking for a book, this place has some options, including a couple of sections for kids. They're so cute and it looks like they support local artists too! I saw handmade bookmarks and some candles too. The staff and vibe is friendly.

I haven't sent much time at Pantego Books, but the few tunes I have been there ut has been a great experience. The store it put together and organized. There is a very good selection of books to choose from. The staff are very welcoming and kind. The store is clean and well maintained. I would recommend stopping by and checking Pantego books out!

Can a book store really make your life better? Apparently the answer is YES! I came across Pantego Books when I was newly-postpartum and just starting to get out and about with my newborn. The environment is so welcoming and accommodating for families with small kids. Our little trips to Pantego Books really helped build my confidence as a new mom while also reinvigorating my love of reading and my passion for writing, which in turn helped me get back to work. If, like me, you’re having trouble getting back into reading after a lot of big life changes, you might just need a highly-curated selection at an independent bookstore to get you going! I found this place a few days ago, and I'm so happy to see a new indie bookstore! The owner is a sweetheart who helped me find what I was looking for and made conversation easy. I will definitely be making as many purchases as I can here in the future, and I hope to see more bookish events here as well!

Attended an author signing event here. This is a very small shop but well stocked with friendly and helpful staff. Parking is shared with other businesses and can get pretty tight during the holidays.

FINALLY! A great local bookstore with a lot of variety of books. I was impressed with the selection of genres and the dedicated children's area. They are also able to order any book they don't have in stock. Definitely spend your money here instead of Amazon
