But, the store pick-up service (where they bring it to your car) has you feeling like royalty – or a highly organized person (and isn’t that the same thing?). They may take a few (or several) minutes to deliver your items to your trunk, but it really helps when you have three little ones in tow sometimes.

Now, if you’re thinking about staff, well, they’ve nailed the art of camouflage. Spotting an associate at Home Depot is a bit like finding Waldo. Staff may not be readily visible, but this store’s vastness serves as an excellent training ground for service dogs or simply a shopping companion.

Its quiet and spacious layout also enhances accessibility, making it a deaf-friendly environment. Overall, Suburban Plaza’s Home Depot offers a pleasant shopping experience, whether you’re a hardcore DIY enthusiast or a casual browser.

I had the opportunity to have the assistant manager Pam. Find an amicable solution to my concerns. Which made me feel heard and valued as a customer. I also met Sarah who took time to listen and help me and give me information I did not know. Home Depot could make happen. If you find a carpet you like, you can have a rug made out of the design. Plus Barbara was extremely helpful to this old lady. By showing concern when I became overwhelmed and had to sit for a while. Every employee there spoke and offered me assistance. When most store employees ignore you and devalue your patronage. It was truly a 5 star experience. Thanks Home Depot❤✌

It was great that the store had a display of the Husky garage cabinets so we could look at them before we purchased them from Home Depot on line. I think the store could sell more of them if there was a full display set up with maybe a code to use so the store could get the credit for the sale.👍

This past weekend, I visited Home Depot located near Elkton Road. The store was very organized and clean. Employees were kind. 👍

I visited the place for making a duplicate keys. It's an awesome big store with lots of hardwares and essential items.

Jam packed with everything you need or want for any 🏡 home or apartment and prices are very reasonable.

Looking for the solar lights that were on clearance!!! 18.66 retail for 29.88.. I needed a new set and these ones are metal base with glass tops!! So happy with them.. this store only had 4 left!! And they run off of battery!! Get them while they are there

Used the Suburban Plaza store after a less then stellar visit to Christiana. What a difference. The employees were helpful and pleasent. I was even offered loading service by the garden center attendent. I had 1000 lbs of concret cinder block on my cart. I thought it might be heavy and she didn't have work gloves with her so I didn't take them up on the offer.

Tim in Tool Rental is amazing! Old school customer service. He is incredibly knowledgeable about the tools and works hard to make sure you understand them before you use them. He stands behind his tools and goes above and beyond to support your rental needs. The best experience I have ever had renting tools!

I was there to test the blacktop in their newly paved parking lot. Everyone was so helpful, especially the store manager.

Kudos to Jack in lumber for his quick response to filling an empty plywood bin followed by making a few very precise cuts. Customer and Employee safety was priority in his operating the lift. Friendly and customer focused. Nice to have an experienced professional on your team. A rare find!

I'm here pretty often and never had any issues. Helpful employees and the best self- checkout I've used - it doesn't demand bagging area nonsense and there's almost never a line. I recommend using the app to find stuff since the layout is not super intuitive.

Sherri is the BEST! We had a bad expiernce with the initial delivery service of our floors (Estes) they are AWFUL! Refused to deliver our floors down our driveway. Anyways, Sherri handled the situation within a 30 minute phone call. Even called the next day to follow up with us. She got us a new delivery service and they came riding down the driveway with the correct equipment! Thank you so much Sherri. Much much appreciated!

Tim in the tool rental department, at store #1610 should be promoted to a corporate position!!! He's a pleasure to do business with! I'd travel an extra 50 miles to deal with Tim rather than some of the others I've dealt with 1 mile away. Thank you Tim looking forward to future business

When it comes to Home Improvement stores, I feel it all boils down to customer service and fair pricing... this particular Home Depot location always has the things I want in stock at a great price and their customer service is second to none. We did have an issue at one point getting a refund on an appliance that could not be installed and it taking multiple days and multiple visits, but it was miscommunication among staff members and we were compensated for our lost time. Thank you!

We’ve been a customer of this Home Depot for a long time now and El Jones has always greeted us with the biggest smile and helped us with all of our needs. She has been such a blessing that she made our day every time we went shopping. People like El Jones need to be recognized of her amazing work. Thank you!!

Right on the Delaware line and customer service is good at this location, rarity among the Delaware home depots that I experience. Five stars!

Today i went to the Home Depot in Suburban Plaza. First and for most I love Behr Paint. With that being said. What made my visit today so special was the staff member Witt he was very helpful coordinating the Colors with my son and I. Hats off to who ever gave this man a job there. His customer service skills and knowledge of his department was spot on.

Thank you Witt for all your help.

Best Home Depot experience in my life. The store had all of the things I needed and the staff was incredibly helpful. Big shout out to Matt F. in the outdoor department, who went out of his way to make sure that I got the generator that I needed. This team actually saved the day for my family who otherwise would be stuck in a house with no power for a week.

What a great store filled with great people willing to help you at a drop of a dime. The staff here are always friendly the store is very well lit and very well maintained. The location is easy to find easy to get in and out of, the shelves are always stocked full of items. I've never been here when they didn't have what I needed.
