Ikeda's

Love their pies. We tried their tripleberry, Dutch apple and peach pie. I recommend buying them by the slice if you aren't sure. If you want the classic, go with apple pie. My preference is the peach pie.

You may have noticed this place as always being busy as you drive up Highway 80 to Truckee. Ikeda's is a market that sells fresh produce, meats, and other food items, as well as a deli and bakery. They are known for their handmade fruit pies. they have a nice gourmet section with a great wine selection. They also make the best burger that are worth the wait! You cant go wrong here.

Super cute and delicious place! We stopped in for lunch on our way home from Reno. I got the mushroom burger and my husband got the famous burger. Both were excellent and the chocolate chip cookies are some of the best we have ever had. It has a cute little market and fresh pies togo. You must stop in if you have a chance, you won't be disappointed.

Such a fun down home shop. Great food, produce, pies, breads.... it's like stepping back in time.

The pies and cobbler are so good here! My favorites are the banana cream pie and cherry pie, but I recently had the cherry cobbler and I think that's my new all time favorite. I like the sweetness and texture of the cobbler topping and look forward to trying the other flavors. The chicken pot pie is kept hot in a warmer and is a great option if you don't have time to wait for your order. It is still very fresh and piping hot. There is tons of white meat chicken and fresh veggies but I'm not the biggest fan of white meat so next time I would try the beef version. The crust is great. Very buttery and flaky. All the burgers are really excellent and the dungeness crab sandwich is very good. Three onion rings are also very nicely done.

It's just the best stop off of the I 80 near Auburn, CA. Travelers East bound from the Sacramento area heading to Reno. I highly, highly recommend you check this small grocery store out. Not only a grocer, but homemade pies. A burger joint, and fresh fruit stand. All in 1 location

Excellent burgers and pies! 5 kids wiped off their burgers and beer battered fries and I took care of the generous slice of key lime pie. Mrs commented burger is tastier than In n Out 🤔 … grocery has lots of interesting food items too!

It’s kinda like a grocery store selling organic food or locally sourced items. Not cheap, but acceptable.
They also offer hot meal which is good. Personally recommend fried chicken sandwich and ribs. The only negative thing is fountain drinks, just like no-flavor soda but not sparkling water….😂

This one is so much better than the Davis Ikeda’s and totally worth the drive to Auburn. There’s a lot more selection of goods and the hamburgers were so yummy! We wish there was a burger grill section at the Davis location also. The pies are to die for and the staff members are always nice and friendly.

Amazing find!! Busy ..but everyone is respectful and tour able to enjoy the experience. Great customer service... quality of food 👌.. the restaurant again busy they move people quickly. Nice outdoor vibe to sit and enjoy your food and bring your dogs!!

OMG if you haven’t had pie here you are missing out. They are famous for all kinds of homemade pies. Lots and lots of pie to choose from. If you want a meal, they can hook you
up as well. Delicious burgers and pot pies and all the things for a decent lunch or dinner. Breakfast burritos are incredibly huge and fantastic!

Love this little store. They have super fresh fruits, veggies, meats and fish. Really great pies and chicken pot pies as well. I try to go every time I'm in Auburn.

Loved it! Delicious burgers and pies. Very big portion sizes at reasonable prices. They also have outdoor seating which is nice. When we got lunch here, there was a bit of a wait though (~10-12min) so do be aware. Also, sitting outside, it got a little windy at times, which I was surprised by. One final note: They do sell pies in their glorious entirety. But if you're looking for slices, you can buy those individually too!

What a find! Been here a long time and we finally stopped in for burgers and fries. The burgers were great, I had the jalapeño burger with bacon. There was a whole selection of marinated meats, fresh fruit, pies, top notch wine and more!!! Very friendly staff too. Will be coming back!!

This is my favorite stop between Tahoe and the Bay Area, I always get a mushroom burger with jalapenos.

Also, while many go for the pie, I'm a fan of the Macadamia Nut Cookies!

Fun gourmet/ farm fresh shop with a good restaurant. The chicken pot pie was tasty. The pasty was good (but needed a side of gravy. The curly fries were the bomb. The regular fries were regular, the sweet potato fries were under cooked. The milk shakes were off the hook!

Great place. Good food- had the chicken pesto sandwich today and was impressed. Apple pie slice was delicious. Good produce. Friendly owners. Looking forward to picking up my bag of little satsuma mandarins soon.

Ikedas is great! I always get their pies around the holidays. A staple in Auburn. Located right off Hwy 80 it is very convenient if you are in town or passing through. Great burgers and shakes too. The building looks cool too! I would highly recommend stopping by for their food and market.
