Best Safeway and grocery store in the area!

Clean and modern feeling to interior of store. Everything always seems to be in stock. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. I will be making this my go-to grocery store!

Weekend before Thanksgiving. Arrived about 8:30am Saturday morning. Oh my, what a pleasant shopping experience. Many staff members were busy stocking shelves. But I had several of them ask if they could help me find something. One staff member helped get something off a top shelf that I could not reach. I went in primarily to take advantage of Prime Rib they had advertised in their adds. They didn't have any out but the meat manager said they would have some ready for me in 20 min and asked how much I was looking for. I did the rest of my shopping and he had it ready for me. And Ronnie who checked me out did a fabulous job bagging my groceries and was super friendly and conversative. You typically do not get such awesome, friendly customer service at grocery stores any more. Well worth driving a bit from Louisville to come to this store. Kudos to the manager and their staff! Thank you for making my weekend and Saturday!

I have to say that the Safeway store located in superior Colorado is a great example of a truly clean and well maintained store. I’ve spent the last few weeks having full behind the scenes unrestricted access to every single inch of the store, and You will not find very many locations that are this well maintained anywhere and it’s the attentiveness of the staff and management, and the fact they care that’s the reason it’s in such great condition and isn’t just a veneer. Thank you all, your customers are in great hands.

Stopped in to get a few things and found everything easily. The store was very clean, the sales clerk was helpful and friendly.

My favorite grocery store, glad they have one in the area. I prefer Safeway for their bakery and deli. They carry most all of my favorite brands. I have used curbside pickup a few times and shopped in the store. I generally use the self checkout and have never had any issues.

This is my favorite grocery store. It is usually quite and is very clean and has a good layout. It isn't the biggest Safeway but I have never had an issue finding what I need or the exact brand that I want. There pharmacy is by far the best I have ever been to. The people are so nice and helpful and quick about getting scripts ready even though they are short staffed. ( Usually only one person working) I have been going to them for 7 years and will continue because even though the pharmacist have changed the friendly and helpful attitude has not. They are currently doing a remodel as of 6-21-17 and I'm not sure when it will be done so just keep that in mind if this is your first time going. All in all I highly recommend for your grocery and pharmaceutical needs.

I love this store! I have been going here since I was a kid and I loved it and still do! They have everything you would need for a typical week. Limited on some things but I can always find substitutes which is great! The Starbucks there is great too. Gives me some coffee to enjoy while walking around! :) Staff is very nice and always go out of their way to help customers. Definitely recommend this store. It makes me feel like I have a family there!

They found the brining bag for me, held it and waited for me. It is amazing customer service. 4:30pm on the eve of Thanksgiving, I drove around town searching for the bag. After visiting four grocery stores, I called this Safeway, they stayed with me for about 10 min. but with no solid results, and no guarantees. When I got there, the customer service had it at the register siting for me. They made my day! Thank you very much Safeway. Happy Thanksgiving!

This is my favorite grocer. The staff in the deli are great at slicing prosciutto properly and the woman who has been working the express lane for years now is super nice and friendly. She always says hi to the kids, has a smile on her face, and clearly knows her business. Mark in the pharmacy is so helpful, you can tell he genuinely cares about his clients. He would be perfect in an old timey pharmacy where the pharmacist knows all his clients by name. The only complaint I have is that the store is a little on the small side and so there are not as many options as a bigger store. They keep everything well stocked.

I have been shopping here weekly for 3 years now and it's been a great experience every time. Best kept up Safeway I've been to and with the newest renovations going on it's a nice experience.

Superior Safeway is remodeled and looks great. Was alittle busy because Safeway corporate people were there but overall a pleasent shopping time. Parking lot wasn't plowed so it was scary to walk so you wouldn't fall.

What a nice, clean store with helpful employees. I don’t live near a Safeway, but I was in the area so I stopped in for my thanksgiving shopping. I found everything quickly and easily and was surprised that it wasn’t fuller. The person at the self checkout even helped me out with a club card TWICE!!! Much appreciated.

I had the most wonderful experience at Safeway! The lovely lady, Janelle, in the floral department was friendly, kind, professional and extremely helpful. Janelle truly saved the day for me and I am extremely appreciative! I have recently moved to Colorado and now I know that I have a friendly Safeway in my neighborhood.

The service has always been great, and their selection seems to be getting better and better to satisfy the Boulder-county demographic. While Costco is our primary grocery store, this Safeway provides everything we don't want to get in bulk - and is our default store for any missing ingredients for a dinner recipe. It's also quite accessible by foot or bikes (lots of trails behind it) - if you are so inclined and live in Superior.

we loved safeway while we were traveling and staying colorado the past few months!!! its really cheap compared to all the other stores in co! great prices, great products, great service, great food! what more could you ask for! we found all we wanted and needed here! would definitely return once back in co!

Clean and easy shopping. They do need to keep up with sale coupons often leaving expired ones up. Even with that minor issue they are a 5 star supermarket compared to the Louisville Kingsoopers madhouse and smelly Safeway across the bridge in Louisville.
