Colpar's HobbyTown - Lakewood

Great store. Went here to get some stuff for my project I’m working on. Really nice. Staff friendly, organized aisles, and easy to find the items you need! Keep in mind that the prices are expensive so be careful on what you buy. So, all in all, great HobbyTown store. Will be back!

This is the place for RC. The amount of knowledge and expertise in these guys is hard to beat. Friendly and always helpful, this is my go -to hobby store. Go in, look around and you will be back. Shout out to Jeff, who is a wizard at RC. When Jeff speaks, you should listen.

The team at HobbyTown Lakewood are amazing. We only buy our RC vehicle from these guys. Why,,, because they treat all of there customers with courtesy.. We have bought 4 RC trucks and have some issue because we are hard on the trucks and they have helped us beyond expectations..... Thanks Anthony

Also known as Coplar Hobbies. They have the best staff ever. We came in wondering what to buy for the family for Christmas gifts and we met a salesman who had complete knowledge of how everything works. I have been coming her for 30 years. Never disappoints!

This place has an amazing selection of models, paints, games, TTRPG, RC and more. The staff are friendly and extremely knowledgeable about anything you need help with.

I visited Colpar's Hobbytown on Thursday 10/12/23 while visiting from Chicago, the staff was very friendly. We talked about the hobby and they even suggested that we take a trip to look out mountain while in Colorado. I also ended up buying a Traxxas 4tec 2.0 Vxl. The next time I visit Denver, CO I will definitely stop by Colpar's Hobbytown.

Oh my gosh I'm so thankful to this store. I had come in last week asking about the perfect grade RX-78-2 Gundam model. And the staff member, ( I wish I could remember their name!) Checked and said all the stock they currently could get from the distributor was backordered and already spoken for, and the supplier didn't know when they would get more.. I was bummed, but I get it. Supply and demand and such. Anyway, I come into the store today looking for RC drift car parts and low and behold there's a Perfect Grade Gundam that literally has my name on it. I don't know what kind of strings were pulled to make that happen, but I'm so thankful and stoked that they did. Wow, can't say enough good things. Thank you SO MUCH for fueling my stupid Gundam Model addiction!

Great Hobby Shop with highly knowledgeable staff who are enthusiastic and super helpful. My last visit I overheard a dad and son who were looking to learn airbrushing and the time the staff took to explain everything had me leaning in. I’ve seen this time and time again when I stop in for a bottle of paint or glue in my way home. The selection of RC stuff looks impressive, not my hobby so… They also carry a big selection of Warhammer (not the most but substantial) and a wide selection of other similar games. They also sell an OK amount of model train but I’d not shop here for that. A good mix of puzzles, kids hobby projects, limited radio shack (yes, they still make stuff) electronic elements and more.

I’ve been going to this location for years. The staff is always friendly and very knowledgeable. They have been great with fixing some of my cars and are always eager to help when there’s something weird going on.

They have a lot of parts in stock! If they can’t get it, they can order it. The communication is top notch as well.

I’d HIGHLY recommend anyone go here, especially if you’re new to the hobby. They take care of people. It’s not just a business.

I love this place. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. I've been going here since I was a kid. I'm in my 40s now and drive across town to get my supplies here. I literally will not go anywhere else for my model building supplies.

On the gaming side of hobbies, this place is great. They have damn near any mini you can ask for no matter the game or situation. They also have a truly amazing selection of what I like to call, "things you didn't know you were looking for," like custom bases with terrain features on them, different specialty heads for minis, pieces for less popular games, and much more.

Their selection of stuff for other hobbies also looks quite impressive, but since I'm not really a model train or RC car/plane guy, I can't really speak to how good it is or isn't.

Great selection and super friendly/helpful staff. Their selection is awesome and cover everything for the seasoned to beginner hobby enthusiast.
