Total Wine & More

Been shopping here on and off again I think going on twenty years now as I've moved to and from the area (unless they haven't been here that long and it's just my imagination) and I realized I should share how great the staff has always been. They are not pushy but very friendly and will provide excellent recommendations if you need help. In one instance, I said I needed to get a selection of wines for a party, and the staff member asked how many people, what are the preferences that I knew of, and what kind of prices I was looking for, and proceeded to efficiently load me up with a great selection that perfectly fit the need.

Beer and wine variety is of course the best in the area. Just a solid go-to place that has kept up their standards over the years.

Total wine always has a great beer selection friendly staff. Got some excellent grower fills today from the Aslin Brewing Black Friday event. There wasnt even a line. I got growlers filled with every variety! Also snagged the last BCS Orange special release.

They stock my favorite red wine .... Justin.💛💛💛

Would be great if non Winery Direct items like mine, had reward points for regular shoppers like me 💛

A wide variety of great wines, but Costco is cheaper

We had a consultation/tasting with Nick to select wines for our son's wedding. Nick was super flexible when we had to change our scheduled time at the last minute. When we finally got there he, and everyone else that works there, was super friendly and made the experience super enjoyable. He asked the right questions to determine what we wanted and spent well over an hour with us. He explained in great detail, and in a way we could understand, the characteristics of each wine and made sure our selections would pair well with the meals being served. Several other employees jumped in to help when it was time to fill our rather large order and helped us load everything in our vehicle. I HIGHLY recommend Total Wine and Nick if you are planning a huge celebration. He will take great care of you and make your party a success!!!

Good beer selection , as good as you'll find in this area

Total Wine is an amazing store. They have all sorts of beers and wines, and if something isn't there, they can order it for you. The only negative is that there prices aren't necessarily great, that said they're not high either. They sell for where everwhere else sells them for basically. You can probably find cheaper beers and wines at stores that have those particular products on sale. But for a one stop shop, this place can't be beat

Amazingly friendly and helpful staff. After a 10 minute conversation about high end French Champagne, I felt like an expert and could make a good decision on getting the best value at my price point. Definitely the place to go to get a great selection and expert advice.

Total Wine & More has an amazing selection and provides incredible support and advice. In Sterling, Phil and other Total wine experts really know their wines. I'm very impressed! With their help, we've found amazing wines at a good price. Give them a chance and ask them some questions, you won't regret it!

Went a week or two ago with my mother to find some new wines to test out. The employees there was super sweet and helpful, walking my mom and I through the different types of wine we would like and gave out honest recommendations. Would absolutely come again.

I would probably have given it 4 stars, but I had a great experience this last time in so I gave the full 5 stars.

One of the employees took the initiative to ask me if I need help finding something. I told her I was looking for San Miguel and/or Red Horse beer from the Philippines. She knew where it was supposed to be and knew where to look when it wasn't in the expected location. It mattered to me because it was a Filipino food themed party.

Ask for Nicolas. He is awesome! Helped two Canadian Girls find their way around and recommend some great wines. Super knowledgeable.

Great placed to get wine and beer. Huge selection. The staff is extremely helpful! Was looking for some wines for when the family comes and were able to make some suggestions based on what I have seen my family drinking. Opened one of the bottles this evening and loved it! Best place to get wine in the NOVA area.
