Extra Supermarket

Wonderful experience, the staff at the frozen chicken department is amazing went our of his way to sell chicken to me even after they were closed and was cleaning up. He made my journey from south jersey manchester to Newark worth while. What a wonderful man, thank you.

This market always have a sale going on, not to mention if you spend a certain amount you’re liable to receive a free watermelon, bag of rice, etc…. whichever promotions they have they honor. The staff is very helpful as well as polite, security does an amazingly, awesome job when it comes to catching thieves, also if you’re short from whatever your items come to all you have to do is ask and they help!!!! If I could I would give 20⭐

This supermarket is very clean and organized and the staff there are very friendly. Everything is very easy to find.

A bit pricey for certain items. But they have a good meat selection at very competitive prices. I'm west Indian and I can get most things that I need for West Indian cuisine at this store.

I loved to shopped at this place fir certain things that they carry which I can't find anywhere else.

It's always neat in here and you can find a bit of everything. It's unfortunate that the food prices have gone up so much as I find this is one of the cheapest supermarkets in my area. It is not as large as the other supermarkets but you can definitely find what your looking for

They are well stocked on cleaning supplies and all the fruit is fresh...I was even able to pick up a few Haitian mangos....so that a plus for me the fish department was a lil smelly but very clean all employees had on PPE so no covic case at extra happy to be able to shop and not be over crowded or in a long line in the sun...

Food at a reasonable price.

Extra has a nice variety of fresh fruits and vegetables. Their selection of seasoning and herbs makes this a wonderful spot to pick up ingredients for tasty dishes!

Went couple days ago vegetables were more expensive than usual. Was shocked they didn't have a mark down cart

Great store, wide assortment, competitive prices. They have the Bruschette Maretti amazing bread chips. It's a must buy.

Extra is so convenient when I don't feel like driving all the way to shoprite. The prices are reasonable and it's good for quick pick-ups to complete a dinner.

Large variety of African and West Indian products. You can find most of your favorite items from back home. Reasonable prices as well.

Nice place to shop. If you are looking for groceries, this is a nice and quiet place to shop. Price of certain things are little higher than that of Wal-Mart and Shoprite. Otherwise can't complain.

I like the way they've opened up the produce section leading to the meat sections.

Today was a good day. Not crowded and found everything I needed fast. I was in and back home within an hour. 🤗😉
