R C Walter & Sons True Value

Great old time hardware store. Great customer service with knowledgeable folks. It isn't a big place but them seem to have everything including hard to find items like specialty bulbs. They sell hunting and fishing license and have live bait as well. Highly recommend RC Walter & Sons hardware store.

We love Walters. This Christmas even more! We bought the best Christmas from them this year. It is very realistic and has a Bluetooth speaker to flash lights to the beat. Andy help load it in my truck and tie it down for me. Thank you all and Merry Christmas 🎄

I have been shopping R C Walters’ store for over 30 years now and I have never, ever been disappointed when I left the store. First let me say that R C Walter & Sons True Value has those impossible to find items that you never see in the big box stores (Lowe’s, Home Depot,etc.) Their sales staff are over the top knowledgeable in most every home improvement you can come up with. I know they service a plethora of commercial businesses but they always take the time to help out and advise their independent homeowner customers.
The last thing I need to mention is that not only can you trust the great quality of the merchandise you buy there but you can always trust that the next time you need something, you will think of Tom or Matt or any of their staff to help you out with most often with the perfect answer to your needs!

The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. If you have an old house, like me, they will have all those little special items that you need for a repair project. They even carry chicken feed!

I prefer to buy local whenever I can, plus, this is just a great, old fashioned hardware store!

Went yesterday evening for what I thought was a fruit fly problem - both at my home & my Mom's. Luckily, a gentleman (I believe possibly an owner?) came by and offered his help. He suggested a natural drain/pipe cleaner to treat "sewer flies" (he told me they lay eggs in the gunk coating pipes & the cleaner would "eat" the gunk). A new one for me - never heard of such a thing - but I was desperate & willing to try anything. I bought two bottles of the product, and followed his instructions, treating the sinks/drains before going to bed.
OMGoodness - I awoke this morning, and I have seen one tiny fly. ONE! I can't wait to go home and treat my own drains!!! Honestly - I had been feeling terribly guilty, thinking that I was somehow being "unclean/dirty" to bring these tiny flies into both homes. Now I feel so relieved - wasn't me, it was the gunk/funk!

You can't find a larger selection or better customer service than at R.C. Walter and Sons. Before you drive to Walmart or Home Depot, check here first to see if they have what you need. 9/10 times they'll probably have what you need and if not, they'll order it for you! So many great services like key cutting, glass cutting, hunting & fishing licenses, firearms, etc. Definitely recommend!

Has things the Big Chain Stores do not have! Including Friendly Customer Service Reps! So if you can't find what you need at the BB, HD, or L's give R.C. Walter's a try, just across the Boston Bridge. One of the only GOOD OLE FASHION HARDWARE STORES!

It's nearby and very convenient. Just bought a new hot water heater there. Staff are very helpful and knowledgeable.

I’ve been working in the Hardware industry for most of my life. And this place is, without a doubt, the best hardware store I’ve ever known. Knowledgeable staff and the friendliest people around. The owner would give the shirt off his back for anyone

True Value stores are great and R C Walter & Sons in Boston PA is no exception. If you can't find what you need there you'll need to search the net. If you have questions about a product you can call them or stop it. Worth the trip.

They have just about everything you could ever need. Spend 10 minutes there, and you will be asked 3 times if you need help. When you describe what you are working on, they really listen, instead of giving you an automatic answer. Their advice is the best you could ask for. It is my new favorite store.

Had a valve stem repair done in less than 15 minutes .
Usually have what I need with personal service that you don't get at a big box store.

R C Walter's always have what I need, they have an excellent selection of hardware and home improvement products. Their staff is friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable. It's always a positive experience.

The best and unfortunately one of the few old time style hardware stores. Plenty of staff who not only know what they have but can help you get the stuff you will need to complete your project. A local favorite and long standing member of the community. NOTE No Sunday hours.

Great local hardware store. Great service and if they don't have what you are looking for they can direct you to wear you can find it! Just the best in my opinion!

I added two additional shelves to two corner cabinets that I have and needed additional shelf pins. I took a shelf pin that I had and a gentleman took his time and showed me the ones that I needed. They worked perfectly!

I'm handicapped n it's difficult to stand for much longer than 2-3 minutes, so I asked for the help of one of their helpers to help me. I needed a bolt n nut to fix my seat of my trike. The helper responded to me n my needs n got me the 2 bolts n nut that I requested, in the short time of a max of 4 minutes. It helped me alot n got me on my way again. I can't complain, it's the Best service in the area ! Thanks from a satisfied customer. Hugs Bethani.
