Save A Lot

I’m really impressed with the new save a lot. The lights don’t buzz and flicker, there’s fully stocked shelves and lots of variety. I’m rethinking my trips to that other German grocery store. Good job so far with the new management.

I have to show some respect to the new management team. This is how you do business, you have to learn to adapt to your environment. When save a lot first open I was disappointed, no workers and the stuff was their own brand and was not for this diverse community. The new save a lot have brand name and definitely has more fruit and veggies. Also varieties of rice and products use by our community. Well done save a lot.
The only thing you need to do now at least have 2 cashiers.

I love coming here I'm new to the area and my husband and I come in every 2 weeks we're always greeted with a smile the staff is really nice we enjoy getting things you rarely can find like sugar cane and the shelves are always stacked

Can not believe after change of management so much more organized and food items, service is great too.

Whew. for yrs I’ve never ever EVER seen the store look so good! I had to come leave a review. Now it looks like a real food store lol. While the old mgmt and employees were GREAT - the store was never fully stocked. Not much to choose from. When you walk in now!!! Shelves are FULL. Clean. They have more fruit to choose from. Idk why reviews are complaining about the new employees - they were very nice to me when i went lol. As far as them not speaking English i had no issues communicating with them. In addition if u kno the area- majority of the people here are from other countries. It’s just the area we are in. AND the people who live in the area in general - aren’t nice! Customers might be rude to the employees so they might not seem as friendly to some due to their guard being Up? Who knows. I’m personally blown away and impressed. & satisfied.

Impressed with my first visit. Be sure to carry a quarter (25 cents) for the shopping cart and know that there are at least 2 sizes so look before you take.

I love it here.... Employees are so nice and it's best to bring your own bags. There are produce, condiments, candles, drinks, cheeses, snacks, literally everything and cheap. The cucumbers I got last night were less than a dollar and double the size than the more expensive ones in ShopRite and tasted very good and fresh. And they are open pretty late .. close to home and pleasant to support

The employees are helpful. The prices are reasonable. Great place to shop with no line.

I like the prices. Its a good place to pick up odds and ends. I wouldn't be able to go full food shopping there. The staff is very nice as well. (Since the meat selection has improved I decided to increase my rating)

Save A Lot really "saved" the day. By the time you see this review, hopefully we will be out of the Corona panic. Save a Lot was one of the few stores that still had meat! Crazy to think of it. The staff were super nice and patient. The store itself, is clean and spacious. I'm on a sugar strike but I must say, the dessert selcetion was everything you ever want! I would have to add Save a lot to my go to locations!

I'm so sorry I forgot to mention the gentleman taking care of me at the register. His manners, attention and service was above and beyond. He deserves a shot at Management immediately. What an asset. I will only shop at your store from now on because of him. Thank you.

Great place to shop. A small supermarket and their prices are awesome. I love ❤ it and I recommend it to anyone. A+

Love their produce. Good prices. I mostly visit the store in Newark. They have the best prices on meat. First visited this store in Georgia,was happy to have them in New Jersey.

Ok. This is truly a little gem. Similar to Aldis, but you can find a lot of name brand items here as well. If you can catch a meat special, the markdowns are great. This is good place to shop for the budget friendly. Clean and there is a parking lot in front, and convenient to get to.

My "Save A Lot" experience has always been great the staff is friendly. Just my opinion Save A Lot is better than Shoprite, Walmart, family dollars. I sure hope it stays like this. I noticed a big difference from the male's that work retail jobs and the females that work retail males are more laid back female's are drama and attitude driven. I'm sharing my truth that doesn't mean I'm sexist or bias. I give people the up most respect and I expect the same not attitude. I go to walmart horrible experience, "employees" pick and choose who they be nice to family dollars horrible experience, shoprite horrible experience. I stop shopping with ShopRite, walmart, family dollars. I want to say thanks to the great people who work there keep up the great energy and life will definitely reward you when you least expect it. I love their fresh berries and usually stop by coming from Walgreens. Prices are very reasonable for fresh produce. Remember to bring your own bags or expect to pay for bags.

I have been there twice so far. Very neat and clean. The prices are great and the costumer service is even better. Please support this local business.

The food they sell is very fresh and not expensive at all.

Save a lot lives up to their name! Although many of the items are off brands they're really yummy. Best part no long line waits. A must try!
