Definitely one of the better Goodwills, really nice staff and managers. Great deals, most time @ this location.

My hubby and I went there to find some last minute clothes for him. He had a business casual interview the next day and we were on a tight budget. I was really happy with their selection. He was able to find a few nice shirts and pants. I was completely surprised that the cookware and dinnerware was priced so nicely. I ended up buying an instapot for $10. I'll definitely be coming back for some great deals.

We are a tax preparation service with multiple locations throughout Pittsburgh. All of our computers have come from here. In five years, we had ONE failed computer, and that was promptly replaced with no problem whatsoever. The computers HAVE to work in our business, and work they do! Flawlessly!! Also I have used them for hard to find parts on my own personal computers and have yet to be disappointed. Monitors, switches, cables.....if you are looking for it, chances are they got it. Even got a screen for my laptop here, and they showed me how to put it in right there! There might be cheaper guys out there, but for me and my business, I am going here first! The fact they have hours seven days a week and the convenient location is a huge plus.

Huge selection, especially the computer/technology section. Great prices too!

Helped my parents get a laptop here and was very satisfied; plus the money goes to a worthwhile mission. The price on a used laptop was great and they took a lot of time walking my parents through the process. Picked up some inexpensive electronic gear for myself as well. Not sure why it wasn't more crowded.

Highly recommended! Sometimes specific selection is hit or miss, but overall if you need oddball cables or adapters or a quick cheap monitor or laptop or wifi antennas or special old boards for legacy systems, this is the place to go!!!
The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly (and adorably nerdy); and reminds me of the folks I would meet at computer flea markets back in the 80s.

I recommended my friend to this Goodwill Computer Works, and it was wonderful. The sales people were very nice, and explained everything in detail. She got an excellent deal on a HP elite book. It only cost her $249 with a 1 year warranty!!! The same computer were used for sale on amazon for at least $500 bucks. This place is awesome, and I will continue to buy my own electronics there, as well as recommend it to my friends and family.

The place to go if you need ANYTHING in the way of computer parts, accessories, or entire units. Prices are as low as you would expect, the people are knowledgeable, and they have it all. Power supplies, cables, motherboards, a "Parts Laptop" pile of laptops 4 feet high, and dozens of monitors and CPUs available at all times. Forget on-line shopping for this stuff, make the trip to Lawrenceville. Super easy to find and park.

I drive out of my way to go to this location because the employees are so nice. Most people don’t realize the electronics section they have. It is super handy if you need a computer or just an extra monitor, mouse or keyboard.

I’ve never been to Goodwill before and had such a wonderful experience - I needed a bed frame (something employees have to get from the back and carry) and the two ladies who helped me were all stars. They kindly greeted me as I walked in, and let me open the box and look before I purchased. It seemed like a little thing, but they were so kind and helpful. Thank you!

I love this place for their cheap computer parts. I got a 24 port rack mount gigabit switch for $20. Apparently goodwill computer works isn't going to be seperate as of may or March 3rd. They are going to be distributing it all to all the stores in sw pa. The section here is dwindling though. It used to be a few aisles, now it's down to one and a wall. I still stop in everytime I'm in the area to check out if they have anything new. Everything from laptop memory to serial pci cards. Always great prices!

Have bought several used albums from this location amongst others. They always arrive in great shape! If you love collecting CDs, try your local Goodwill!

I don't know what got into "T asdf" to make that horrible, slanderous review, but as a longtime computer nerd (with NO ties to Goodwill), this is beyond a doubt the cheapest place in the area to buy a spare mouse, perfectly fine used monitor, HDMI cable, specialty cable, or even cards, external equipment, and used computers and laptops. The staff is fairly knowledgeable, although of course you should know the part you're looking for (exactly) before going, so you don't go home with almost-right.

Wow, this store has the nicest men's dress shirts I've seen at any thrift Shop. Plus, the vinyl selection is excellent and there is an Electronics Department where you can build you own computer!

A small goodwill compared to most but the electronic section makes up for that! I give this location 5 stars because of the electronic section mainly, with all of the other sections for clothes, furniture, shoes, books, and toys. In the electronic section you can find HD TVs, laptops computers, hardware, desktop computers, all you computers needs, PLUS they fix broken hardware!

Have always been pleased with the service here. Always have an awesome selection of computers for pretty acceptable prices. And tons of hidden gems of electronics in general to be found.

I'm down with this Goodwill!
They recently completely reorganized their store so all clothes are in front, and back area is all housegoods and electronics/computers. This place often had stuff, but this time everything was grouped by category, visible and orderly. We found many necessities. Found a great oversize $1 book on juicing and smoothies that I am very excited about.
Aside from daily tag color sales, I learned that educators can get 25% off on tuesdays (bring your ID). They have some other specific discounts I can't recall.
Stop down there and check it out!

I recently stopped by to purchase a couple of 60GB IDE hard drives ($5 each) for a laptop reconfiguration project. Also, picked up an omni direction wireless antenna for $2. I recently installed a WIFI system for an average size church and am also the network administrator for that church. I observed many enterprise level appliances available at the Goodwill store. There is a huge selection of switches including a Linksys 24 port 10/100 for only $9.95. I believe I could configure an affordable multi-user small office system with the components available in the store. These are not Best Buy prices. There were two (2) Xbox game consoles at really affordable prices. This place has become my favorite technology store.

Great computer part selection. I've built quite a few machines with parts from this place. Mostly reasonable prices, a friendly staff, and lots of stuff to choose from.
