Haddon Culinary - Haddonfield

So everything is generally good here, and they always have a nice selection of rotating items . . . Today, however, was a total game changer. I got the burnt ends cheesesteak, which sounded promising and was recommended by a friend. It's large, as you can see, and I told myself I'd only eat half of it before taking one bite, blacking out in a state of bliss and immediately devouring the whole thing. This was followed by the most incredible nap of my entire life. This sandwich is divinely inspired, perfectly executed, joy on a bun, smack your mother good. It should come with a coupon for 12 step meetings. I may never eat anything else as long as I live, and honestly, if I die this afternoon, I'm good. Perfect roll, perfect meat, perfect cheese, and just enough BBQ sauce to give it a zing. Do not pass go. Do not collect $200. Go get this sandwich IMMEDIATELY.

Last time I was here, they had a BBQ pop-up for First Fridays. I went for brisket (skipped the bread), and a side of their string beans. No regrets: Didn’t need a knife for their brisket!

They’re conveniently near the Haddonfield PATCO station. Light parking.

They fit a ton of offerings in a small space. A lot of local products with fresh cheeses and soups available to go. Large breakfast menu which is served all day. Fresh hot and cold sandwiches as well. Had a Dark Chocolate lovers ganache bomb which was incredible if your a real fan of chocolate. Will be back

This was an unexpected gem of a find! I went to the HADDONFIELD location (right on Kings Hwy, next to PATCO - be sure to clarify, if you're meeting someone there).

Breakfast sandwiches are served all day, and I got the OG vegan breakfast sandwich (tofu egg patty, vegan sausage patty, vegan gouda cheese, spinach, & siracha) and a cup of vegan asparagus bisque (soup); hubby got the vegan scrapple sandwich that had housemade scrapple, vegan cheese, maple syrup spread, on a cinnamon raisin "philly muffin". Everything was DELICIOUS!! Great flavors and textures!!

Also, I called both locations and both people who answered were friendly and helpful when I asked about veg options. And, the woman behind the register in Haddonfield was wonderfully friendly, helpful, and immensely patient with a few customers who needed some extra attention (I asked a bunch of questions).

It's set-up like a market inside, with a large variety of prepared foods, specialty market items (pantry, fridge, & freezer), and a coffee bar. One of the gentlemen on the phone said they were plant-focused, but I found they did also have a big selection of animal products. Still, I'm grateful for the veg options they do have, and hope they get lots of veg customers and grow those offerings.

They have a few tables with roomy chairs outside and bonus, it's in afternoon shade! There are nice plantings, and a convenient parking lot! People-watching is limited, but several people walked, biked, and jogged by as we ate. There is also a small table or two inside, for a quick bite. Note that this is not a restaurant or café, but a well-appointed market.

I wasn't the only one who appreciated Haddon Culinary's offerings - it was a popular place, too, with a steady stream of folks coming and going.

I'm happy to find this spot and know we will be returning soon, for take-out, delivery, or to meet a friend for a casual lunch. I will also be checking out the Collingswood location now, too!

(UPDATE: I've now been there 3 times this week and it just keeps getting better! Plus, they added a lovely picnic table grove!)

I live in Philly and had bought a Groupon awhile back. I came here yesterday and first off the groupon was for the other location but not sure if it was the owner/manager that was at the front but accepted it with no problem. Which begins with REALLY good customer service and this is why....Because after tasting these sandwiches i can NOT wait to come back again. I had the chicken cutlet Caesar (which the man at the front helped me decide on) and my friend had the eggplant sandwich.
Living in South Philly I have some really good sandwich places near me but I have to say this is definitely worth crossing the bridge for.

Walked in to the store to look for a specific spice blend - the shop ended up not having the blend pre made on the shelves.
I was helped immediately by the salesperson who quickly looked up a recipe for the blend and made it CUSTOM for me on the spot! Friendly and Super attentive staff who would not stop at “ we don’t have that here.” Above and beyond customer service can’t wait to visit again.

Unique Organic beverages, sizeable menu, quality locally made products. Convenient location... Friendly staff... Right up my alley!

We stopped here for first Friday food (outdoors). Sooo good! Store always has fresh, delicious options for meals. Definitely stop in to see.

Excellent food..we had breakfast sandwiches and coffee. The young lady who was a one-person do-it all dynamo, was terrific!
Before we left we bought some cookies...peanutbutter/jelly, which looked fabulous, but alas, very stale and not flavorful..($2.99 each- bought 4).and the chocolate chip sea salt, also looked amazing, but so hard couldn't break or bite it.($1.99 each)..disappointed, especially due to price...wound up tossing, .but main course was delish...and the other offerings were very inviting.

I’ve never write reviews but I had to based on my experience and the food. The staff were super friendly and helpful (I came in 5 minutes before closing). Their prime beef French onion sandwich was AMAZING. It’s the BEST sandwich I ever had! 100% will be a frequent customer.

Breakfast sandwiches are great. Very bourgeoisie feel compared to my usual bacon egg and cheese on a plain bagel. Definitely my new guilty pleasure

Quality food, the Haddon Sunrise is the best breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had. Recently had a fried chicken sandwich that was excellent in its balance of flavors. PB&J cookie is also delicious. Can’t go wrong here.

Love this place! My go to for all things gourmet, especially the prepared foods and sausage selection. I always end up spending too much time in here and leave with more than I planned to get. Def recommend checking it out! Nice people too.

The Haddon Sunrise breakfast sandwich is amazing. Over Easy Egg with perfectly cooked bacon, fresh avocadoes, sweet ripe tomatoes, on a toasted ciabatta, featuring a zesty aiolo. Nitro Cold Brew has that delicious chocolate flavor you come to love in a good Nitro. Various assortment of goods line the shelves including biscottis, coffees, chips, soups, chicken pot pies, cookies, and more. The baked pastries are also very good, and the croissants warmed up are flaky and perfectly buttery. The staff are all very friendly.

Why get a breakfast sandwich anywhere else? These sandwiches are incredible. The Butcher’s Favorite on a buttermilk biscuit with a fried egg is beyond delicious. Highly recommend!!

High quality foods from local owners who are employing locals. It's always fantastic to support great people. Their house-made foods are great, especially their sausages!
