On The Border Mexican Grill & Cantina - Mt. Laurel

Our server was amazing, I wish I got her name! Regardless of when we walk in, the food is always amazing. I love their Patron Margarita and queso! Highly recommend!

When our food was slightly late, the manager came over to speak to us to explain the delay. Just that in itself shows amazing customer service!

I’m not normally a “write a review” gal… but I’m happy to share my experience from this evening. My family of 4 went out to dinner, including a 3 year old toddler and less than 1 year old baby. We can be a lot lol. My baby got a bite of the guac and loved it. So the waiter (shout out to Carlos) and the manager in house (sorry I didn’t get your name!!) brought out literal slices of plain Avocado so my 8 month old could dig in while my husband and I ate. It’s such a silly and small gesture, but sheesh for us parents, that goes a really REALLY long way. Thank you for showing us kindness. And to Carlos who checked in on us a bunch to make sure we had what we needed, take away extra plates so we had room for all the kids stuff… OH and I swear: we had a table by the kitchen and every single staff member who came out of that kitchen tonight stopped to either say hi to my kids or smile at them as they went by.. it’s just so appreciated. It’s hard to be out at a restaurant with two young ones, and everyone at At The Border tonight (1/20 between 5:30-6:30pm) was so kind. Thank you!!! PS the food and drinks were 10/10 as well!!

Service was spectacular. Our waitress brought us fresh drinks and chips without us even having to ask. There was a mistake with our order but it was handled quickly. The food was really good. I enjoyed my shrimp tacos. Can't wait to go back.

....visited for the 1st time yesterday. (Almost didn't go; have been sad n crying for days- lots of tragedy happening), however- I am SOOOO glad that I joined my co-workers for lunch! The food was delicious, hot and just as the menu described. What REALLY made the experience even more enjoyable was our Server, Jo Jo. She was DARLING...funny, empathetic, and so down to earth....will DEFINITELY be returning SOON!

There are many fine Mexican themed restaurants in the area and On The Border never disappoints. The menu has a lot of good options and the food is always prepared well at this location. We went to dinner as a celebration of my son's 15th birthday (he loves OTB). Service was excellent and attentive. Definitely recommend.

Food and service were both excellent! It was a little slow to be seated and have a waiter come over, but that was no problem and the service thereafter completely made up for the slow start. Highly recommend!

Great place to grab a bite and a drink.

Everything was delicious as always. We did take out and when we got there we were greeted with friendly smiles and our food was packed up nicely and ready to go.

Salsa and chips - awesome. Avocado fries - fenominal.
Cheese/refried bean quesadilla- delicious.
Perfect Patron Margarita - 11/10
Voodoo Ranger Juicy Haze IPA-solid
Atmosphere - warm
Wonderful hospitality from host and waiter.

Never have I been so totally and atmospherically transported to Mejico as I am every time I enter the On The Border Mexican Grill in mount laurel New Jersey. Their Wahlberg marg is worth your time. The fajitas for one could easily serve 3. The happy hour special simultaneously solves the question of both time and place for all those thinking of proposing. Catch me holding court here every time I make my way to south Jersey.

Music selection is awesome. Jordan our waiter was amazing. Food is always good.

Definitely worth the drive. I use to go there all the time when I lived in Dallas. Great food n service.

The atmosphere at this restaurant is excellent it gives a Mexican themed sports bar vibe. I really loved the food the servings were plentiful and delicious. The margarita was tasty and I only needed 1 to feel a little tipsy lol. Enjoy this place and do try the margarita!

The first time I came here, I had horrible service. The second time, I had Dominic (hope I am spelling your name right!). Dominic was easily the best server I have ever had. He was super attentive to our needs, gave great conversation and recommendations, etc. I would come here again just to have him as our server. 10/10 recommend him. The new burrito was also great!

We went here yesterday for lunch with the TLZ group and I have to say that was the best experience I’ve ever been to. Can’t wait to go back there again.
