Ideal Food Basket of Glendale

I am so grateful to the staff at Ideal! I was extremely sick and my mom called on my behalf to order some essentials. My mom explained what was going on and even though it was after their delivery service hours, they agreed to help me out and deliver! They were at my door in minutes! They are amazing people, truly compassionate and kind, Jesse and the team are the best and I will never forget they helped me!

Their prices are pretty good, they need to get more cashier to make the line go faster

I Love this store. I have a 4 month old daughter and I am always helped with my groceries to the car. Everyone is kind, welcoming and very pleasant. I highly recommend this supermarket to all. The woman behind the deli counter is so nice! We have become friends! And she makes the best sandwiches! 😁

This is a nice little supermarket in the Glendale area. They have good sales and a friendly staff. They carry a lot of national brands and an good assortment of beer. There is a butcher at this location who will take special order requests upon demand between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. 7 days a week. They accept bottle deposit returns for the beer, soda, and water they sell. They even have 5 gallon water bottles for sale as well as the 55 gallon cardboard shipping barrels for sale. Impressive for a little supermarket competing against big national supermarkets.

This place is 2 blocks away from my house which I find very convenient. Price are reasonable and every now and then, they offer discounts on food items with or without subscription to their store. The cashiers and staff are friendly (some of whom are my neighbors). The produce are sometimes located outside but they also offer some inside the store. There is a vast variety of bread and basic stuff to choose from. A plus for this store is the addition of Polish and Mexican goods with their own aisles.

I gave this place 1 star but it doesn’t even deserve that much. Horrible place to buy groceries. The veggies and fruits are rotten the bread is expired and please don’t buy the meat. They mask the old ground beef with fresh ground beef on top so you’ll think it’s fresh and buy it. I’ve had several bad experiences shopping there. The cashiers are rude and racist. The only down to earth and pleasant cashier is the Dominican lady/cashier. I will no longer spend a dime in that store. I’m going to contact the State Health Department so they can do an inspection!

It's a convenient supermarket. They have the same weekly sales as bigger stores. They also have most of what you will be looking for at a supermarket. So give it a try if your nearby and need to pick up some food. I gave it 5 stars because the manager got right back to me. Matter of fact I shopped there today. Good produce.

The store is so nice and clean . The prices are reasonable . The staff is friendly especially the front manager Leslie is so friendly and helpful she is the one reason why I come back to the store. The girl In the deli is also so friendly and helpful . I only get my deli stuff from her when she’s there.

Just moved to Glendale and this is the best local supermarket I've been to buy meat! The fruit section is limited but none the less very well priced. Decent selection of items for its size.

Lovely place to do your grocery shopping. Everyone is very friendly and helpful.

great local grocery store, has everything you need but it is on the smaller side. Raw meats (chicken, steak, etc.) very good price and usually fresh cut/packaged.

1st time I visited store was well stocked and staff very polite. I signed up online for deals and I'll be going back again. Great store

I moved to the neighborhood back in June and people at this supermarket have been nothing but kind and respectful and welcoming to our family.

Loved going when I lived in the vicinity. Great selection, prices and people that worked there also at the time. Nancy the manager was a doll!

Smaller old-fashioned style supermarket with friendly staff that is genuinely nice. Good variety of stuff. Has a deli counter.
