I was pleasantly surprised. Nice selection of books and accessories. The gentleman that waited on me was helpful and we had great conversation about the time of year. I would shop there again when the need arises.

I have been in several times and they are always friendly, always helpful; if you are looking for some used gear they sometimes have great deals for you. As music stores go it is pretty big, definitely worth your business and worth the drive!

I've been here a few times but stopped in recently to pick up a birthday gift for my wife. This is a large music store with just about everything, as well as lessons. I'm not sure if it was the owner I spoke with, but he took his time with me exploring the options on my purchase, steered me away from products he didn't recommend and didn't try to up-sell me on the more expensive stuff. I got the sense that they are very honest and knowledgeable. Big selection and a great place to spend some leisure time shopping for music gear. Much better vibe than the chain stores like Guitar Center.

I am a beginner violinist and brought my violin (that was NOT purchased from the store) to be tuned and have my strings fixed. I had one string broken to which he fixed for free since I did not have any cash on hand and only my card (extremely nice even if it was only 3$!!) The gentleman was quick, efficient, and also gave me a few tips. Great service and a cute store!

I had stopped by years ago and remember that it was a good experience. Today was an exceptional experience. I stopped by and explained what I needed but he didn't think he had anything compatible. He spent time with me showing me what he had and we confirmed it would not work with the equipment I had. He did offer a competitor that might have what i was looking for and I was impressed that he would tell me that. I had one other question , and that too, he offered a competitor. He cared that I find what I was looking for and i can tell you I will return to the store in the future. I was very impressed with the time and service I was given tonight.

Good selection of stuff, highly knowledgeable and extremely helpful staff. It is great to have such a huge music store with a vast selection like this within two miles of home, instead of having to drive 30 miles to Sam Ash or Guitar Center for Chinese made junk and non-helpful salespeople. Got a great deal on a used and rare bass cabinet. Great selection of music books as well.

Every one their is very knowledgeable. I just bought a NUX amp because Rob told me they’re awesome for the money. He was right. Awesome amp Rob! Robbies also sold me a used Stratocaster for a great price. Absolutely awesome guitar. Just had my Gretsch restrung & set up by them. They do the best set ups. Much more personable than the bigger chains & their prices are really good.

These guys are the best, cant say enough good things about this place. Family run store, friendly and knowledgeable crew. Great inventory of new items as well as some cool vintage/2nd hand gems in the place. Stores like this are a dieing breed, this family has been in business for the better half of a century and I hope theyre around for generations to come.

Took lessons here as a kid. Im in my mid 20s now and through the years they've remained my main go to for everything music. Staff has always been incredibly friendly and helpful. I highly recommend checking them out before ordering something online.

I went in to find out what part I needed for my daughters ukulele. The staff was very friendly and did not push me into spending money in their store. The repair man told me exactly what I needed to replace. Thank you for helping out!

Just got home from picking up my new Martin that I dropped off to get set up. George did an amazing job and even threw in the strings for free! I mean this thing is as tight as it gets and they were a pleasure to work with.

Great place to shop located on Route 46 westbound Lane near the Budd Lake Hackettstown border. Welcoming atmosphere, friendly, courteous and helpful sales staff and repair service. You can also try instruments in the store hassle free, take lessons and shop for accessories.

I have bought two guitars now from Robbie's. First was a new acoustic that I really NEEDED. I told the sales person, George (who sold me both guitars I bought), exaclt what I wanted/needed and he found it for me. He even made me a good deal on a beautiful Takamine.

Second guitar was an incredible experience. Robbie's has a very unique and diverse selection of guitars. You never know what you will find there (because beautiful used gear comes in all the time). I walked into Robbie's last saturday and saw my DREAM guitar sitting in the Gibson display case, a 2011 Gibson Les Paul Double Cut Special with P-90 pickups (TV yellow and everything). I told George it was my dream guitar. He gave me a trade in price for my old Les Paul, cut me a deal on the Double Cut and I walked out with my dream guitar for a great price.

These people actually care about their customers and do fantastic set-ups and repair work. I will NEVER go to guitar center again! Thanks guys!
