Dollar General

Very nice employees and professional. Fully stocked and more professional than other stores in the city. An employee named Isranayah, young black female Was extremely Kind And helpful. Better than any dollar general in the city.

What I like about this place is there a park very close to broad st, so I can do all my shopping around and not park fees. The place is always very organized, and the staff is friendly and helpful. There are a varied of makeup, good shampoos, and a personal care product. They also offer coupons and you can save a lot on cleaning products. I normal buy vitamins here since I find the brand that I like and the price is very cheap compared to the Walgreens store. I do not buy bread or milk since I think the due date is always close to expiring.

I love dollar general. I buy almost all of my items from there and visited all the stores of Elizabeth and Hillside. it bothers me to see people disrespecting the stores, like the thieves come in with backpacks or large coats to steal and there's no one or not enough staff to notice or make themselves available in the aisles. I worked retail and I know how it is, no one wants to risk their lives for products but the store intercom doesn't make the employees any safer cuz it don't seem they truly have a visual on the store aisle by aisle, I have witnessed it happening and told the girl on the floor, unfortunately he got away. Also, the register and vault is very visible to everyone, so if I notice it I'm sure others have too! NOT VERY SAFE AT ALL!!! NEED MORE SECURITY IN THESE STORE.. I'M SURE THE AUDITS ARE VERY HIGH FOR MOST OF THESE STORES. I'VE BEEN IN ONE STORE WITH ONLY ONE EMPLOYEE ALONE OR JUST TWO STAFF - CASHIER AND STOCK GIRL.. TO ME ITS A UNSECURE ENVIRONMENT FOR THE EMPLOYEES AND CUSTOMERS, TIME ARE VERY CRITICAL OUT HERE AND GOD FORBID ANY INCIDENTS OCCURS IN ANY THE LOCATION I'M IN BECAUSE WHATS THE SAYING: SEE SOMETHING SAY SOMETHING. 🧐😠

Its a good store but i walked in at like 6am and since i saw people in there, the lights were on and, the door was unlocked too i assumed that it was had just opened so i went in and as i was like 5 centimeters away from the skittles when one of the employees just yelled at me from across the aisle and said "THE STORE ISN'T OPEN YET BRO" and i haven't had the heart to return since.

keeping it real, they gotta deal with alot of bs with people stealing and still try to help when asked even if it isn't exactly a upscale supermarket.

Assistant Manager Mike is fantastic!! My first time there he helped me with all my shopping needs and as usual I bought more than what I came for but as long as Mike and his willingness and great customer service is there I’ll always go there!!

This dollar general is fully stocked, I will go another day when I can browse they have unique items.❤

Cheaper than the big chain stores. Stock is brought in expeditiously, and the customer service at this location is excellent!!

I have been to plenty of dollar generals this one maybe small but it was spotless nothing out of place.

It is centrally located in my neighborhood and I shop there for my supplies. It's a Stone throw away from EPD and bank of America

Many locations with parking so that U can get inexpensive needed items.
