This is my go-to organic foods store. I have shopped at all the local organic/natural food stores in the Grass Valley & Nevada City area and am most pleased with Natural Selection. They are not as large as several of the other stores, but for all that they offer a good selection, and I think their prices are the best in the area. I always find the store clean, organized, and the staff knowledgeable and friendly.

Cheapest japanese yams I've found in area so far, not as cheap as in bigger cities/asian markets but happy to not pay over $4 a pound. I don't much enjoy yams and sweet potatoes but Japanese yams are one of my favorite vegetables. Just poke with fork and heat in stove, that's it.

One of the nicest and easiest places to shop. Friendly staff and a surprisingly well rounded array of food and products for sale. Love this store!
