Pepe's Cafe

Nice place. Had a corner booth. Not too busy at 11 so easy to find seating. Only 2 tables for outside, though. Ranch was $1, and I wasn't told it was a charge. It's still good, though. Got the chicken pesto sandwich with garlic fries.

This is our new favorite spot!
Great classic menu with healthy, fresh whole foods and an outdoor patio setting on the pedestrian strip of downtown.
Highly recommend their salads and pancakes plus the kid's menu is awesome 😎

It's perfect. Incredible elevated diner food, cheap prices, very clean. Everyone order their Biscuits and Gravy. Chicken stock based andouli sausage gravy, unreal, so good.

Food was excellent and came out quick. I had the Philly Cheesesteak and it was perfect. Fries seemed like they were fresh cut? Also delicious. Can be a bit pricey, but with the quality, it makes sense.

This little gem on Mill Street in Grass Valley is a must try! We ate outside and were served fairly promptly. They're accommodating with umbrella placement and special requests. (Yes, we went there. ) I had a fritatta and it was so tasty. Everyone else was happy with their meals. Good fun.

So good! Lovely and relaxed cafe with clever brunch/lunch items. The "make your own" scramble or breakfast tacos are SO good - you choose what meat, veggies, and cheese you want and everything get puts together fresh in their kitchen. The salsa for the breakfast tacos is spot on! Highly recommend!!

Mill street needed a place like Pepe's. Breakfast burrito with chicken apple sausage was excellent. My wifes Frittata was fantastic also. Service was great! Prices are fine. Like Johnnies and Old Town, Pepe's can now give us a reason to visit Mill St. in the morning.

My husband and I just ate at Pepe's Cafe celebrating my husband's birthday. we love this place. Pepe and his wife and staff were wonderful ! food amazing! Enjoy the beautiful mill street experience. Jennifer and Peter.

Perfection! We really love the added flavor in many of there plates, especially the house made salsa! So far the breakfast burritos are great dine in, but also awesome for takeout, classic Huevos rancheros and some friends got lunch items that they loved. Great food, awesome family and lovely atmosphere! Thank you Pepe for bringing life back to this local spot.

Just had another delicious breakfast at Pepe’s Cafe. The staff is very friendly and very attentive, and always serving customers with a smile. The hot sauce that came with my breakfast tacos was soooo good, I asked if they sold it by the bottle! They make it in house and it’s amazing! Definitely give this spot a try, you won’t be disappointed!

The food was excellent and plentiful. I seriously considered the need for a "doggie bag."
The service was prompt and friendly. The facilities were clean, neat and welcoming.

They have a steak sandwich and they let me customize it to a steak burger with whatever I wanted on it. Being pregnant with weird cravings they did not question it very sweet waitress. They Made it how I wanted and it was amazing. Recommended and will go again to support our locals.

The chicken apple sausage frittata is outstanding! Every plate I saw coming out of the kitchen looked delicious. Service was warm and prompt. A great cafe, I’ll be back…

Ordered the Avocado toast, It was amazing!! Pepe’s is a great place with lovely staff, an employee with the name of Shannon was especially amazing, I had called to order and she was kind enough to drop it off at my work downtown, that kinda of service is the best one could ask for! I highly recommend going to Pepe’s for great food and even better service!

OK Grass Valley, you need to go here have breakfast and wonder why you didn't try this place sooner. Excellent breakfast and service. Go, give it a try, you will be pleased. Lunch is also, AWESOME....

I popped in here this morning and had the Santa Fe enchilada and it was outstanding!! Coffee and service were great as well! Definitely recommend!!

Really good food for our local downtown diner. Nice servers who aren’t too folksy like the last owners. The lighting is cold, 5000 kelvin? It could be warm with better light bulbs at 2700 or 3000 kelvin. A few old pictures on the white walls and few green plants would do wonders for creating some atmosphere. It’s nice that is minimal though.

Have eaten there a few times since opening. The food is really good and generous portions. As to be expected when a much needed restaurant opens it doors, it will be busy and getting the hang of the flow takes a bit. The good menu, clean and bright atmosphere make up for a few minutes longer to get a delish lunch. We’ve had the biscuits and gravy, three kids meals, enchiladas, huevos rancheros and cheeseburgers and all were great. We will be returning frequently.

The enchiladas were amazing!!! That place never disappoints us. The girls work so hard and are extremely kind and helpful.

Our daughter begged us to go try out her friend's family's new restaurant. The food was absolutely amazing. Everything was cooked perfectly. Lots of traditional options with with a bit of a Mexican flare. I cannot wait to see how this restaurant grows in our community.
