Haven't been to the store in person, but have purchased online. Ellen is so kind and amazing! They have so many cool things you can buy online. Definitely going to purchase from them again! ❤

The Mercantile is a downtown Grass Valley favorite for the young and old alike. Upstairs is a kid’s wonderland with toys, games, stuffies, and project kits. Downstairs is everything from a candy counter to yard art to dish towels to knick knacks and much more. A great place to find a gift for just about anyone!

You can find almost ANYTHING here, from practical, to toys, to candy, as well as bulk candy, WONDERFUL gifts, and something for every age

I absolutely love this place. They have a wide variety of items and it always ends up being my go to if I need to get a gift or just find a special treasure for my home.

My son and I love this place. We go here about once a week to play with the toys and find new ones to buy. The toys can be a bit expensive, but you are definitely buying quality when you buy from here

We are big fans of this place and never tire of going there. Tons of toys and games upstairs. Some toys thoughtfully on display to be played with..kids love it. Large selection of games puzzles & costumes..a whole section of stuffed animals and so much more. That's just the upstairs. Downstairs is more for adults with gifts and a cute display of Dept. 56 Villages.

Amazing care and customer service! I ordered a holiday snow globe that was out of stock at most stores. Not only did they ship it out immediately, when I opened my invoice there was a crisp new $10 bill. Written on the invoice was a hand written note: "we got a great discount on shipping so we are giving you the difference". I am across the country in GA so not sure how often I can do business with Foothill Mercantile but they will be my first go to - in this day and age this kind of honest and generous service wins my business.

visited in August of 2021. went specifically because of their Breyer Model Horse selection, and i was not disappointed! the entire store was organized very nicely, the staff was friendly and the cashier let me know about a Breyer Fun Day they were hosting (though it ended up getting canceled due to COVID). i don't live in the area, but will definitely stop by any time i'm in town! i'll definitely shop on their website as well.

I visited here yesterday (12/12/18) for the first time. I was pleasantly surprised to find such a great toy store in the center of down town. The service was wonderful! The store was busy, but the staff was very kind. Free gift wrapping too! I definitely recommend!

Comprehensive toy store in cite downtown Grass Valley. They also sell hand made chocolate. What more could you (I mean your kid 😏😉) ask for!

Very cool hobby/toy store. Sorta pricy, but found a perfect birthday present for a 4 year old girl that wasn't an electronic, plastic gadget right away.

We never miss visiting when we are in town. Lovely helpful employees, an amazing selection of home and gift giving items and to-die-for fudge!! One of my favorite stores on the planet

We had so much fun here . The staff was a hoot and helped us pick out just the right gifts to bring back beautifully gift wrapped to a few friends back at the camp sight . Try the birthday cake fudge ! Sooo good .
